    Morning all

Happy Birthday Aimee - hope you enjoy your lunch.

DLB - I wouldn't worry about a small burn mark - no point paying out £200 for something that won't improve the efficiency of the car.

Rchddap1 - Hope things get sorted out with the house - moving house is stressfull enough without all the things you've had to cope with, with your LO.

Lovely breeze here this morning, heavy thundery showers forecast for later, but at the mo it's sunny. We had a misty sea fog yesterday that made the grass to wet to cut - it's still not completely dry this morning so it will have to wait for another day (it's waited 3 weeks so far due to bad weather).

Had a bit of a blonde moment this morning when a bill came through that I'd forgotton to allow for - needs paying before DH gets paid too - had to do a quick re-jig and have found £114 of the £167 that I need - think I might have to dip into the OD this month - but only for 5 days so not too bad - first time in months I've missed something like that.

Chicken in the SC yesterday turned out lovely, lots of onions, garlic and red wine made a lovely stock too - will be making soup and a couple of large chicken and veg pies for the freezer this afternoon. Got some mince needs using up tonight and some courgettes, think I might do a lasagne - there's enough courgettes to pad it out into 2 lots of meals for the 4 of us.

Off to town to pick up a fathers day pressie then I must crack on.

Hope you all have a great day.

    Morning all,

I've read all the posts now forgotten everything!! Although been keeping an eye on the boss cos he's lurking!

Amie, have a lovely birthday, hope you get lots of surprises and treats :D

Angelraesunshine, is there no way you can split the £20 before you go to Asda, that's really dangerous!

Dlb, sorry to hear about the car, I've done this in the past too. Gave up smoking on 15th May though so hopefully this won't be a problem for me anymore, it is tough giving up but might be worth giving a go especially before the 1st July huh.

Rchddap1, sorry to hear the problems you're having with the paperwork, fingers crossed that it all goes through.

Pooky, your chicken in the SC sounds lovely, can you tell me the ingredients cos I've not cooked chicken in my SC yet, I'm a new to SC'ing!

Well I've been at work for an hour and a half and all I've done is read MSE  my boss will go mad if he catches me. So I'm now off to do some work until lunchtime then plan my online Asda shop for the end of the week :D

    Have a lovely day.

Morning all..................(((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) to any one who needs them.....
Dull morning and a lovely breeze coming in through the window.

Managed to shift the lawn mower and clothes airer on free cycle last night, someone coming to collect both around lunch time.

Need to have a bit of a dust and run round with the dyson this morning, carpets looking bitty and I could write my name in the dust ooooooooopppppppppsssssss, still it will take me less than an hour to clean the whole house. Did the bathroom last night after we had a bath, just the floor to do. The kitchen floor takes me 2 minutes.........

The cupboard in the hall is bursting at the seams, I need to get in there and clear it out a bit and try to get some of the stuff up from the floor........

Lunch today, bread and cheese and strawberries with yoghurt........not sure whats for supper, have not looked at the list.

Coffee waiting, so I am off to drink it..............

:rotfl: I'm so sorry to laugh, but you are so like me! I think I need my cards and cash confiscated! I get paid, have every bit of money in my account ear marked for something then go straight on to amazon/ebay/wherever and think 'I got money, I gotta spend it quick!!'

Don't be too hard on yourself, just be armed with the knowledge of this trip next time!!

Snowy How's the jam going? ;)
Well today I shall ponder what to do about my hair  while I trudge around underground. :D At least it will be dark. :rotfl: Byeeeeeeeeeee

Aussie - the jam hasn't quite materialised, due to hot weather I didn't fancy making it. Today is a bit cooler though not drizzly here, and there aren't enough strawberries left. Regards your hair why not wear your St.Patrick's Day hat, nobody would notice it then... or just leave your head plain and say it's your Scottish roots coming through??

Amie - have a fantastic birthday, empty that box of choccies, and drain the bottle of champagne!

    Morning Everyone

    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Amie

Enjoy the birthday lunch with your Mum, is OH taking you out tonight, and you didnt tell us how he got on with his new toy (car).

Well for someone who doesnt watch TV I was shouted to it last night by DH, when Celebrity Masterchef was on, then Supervets came on, followed by Springwatch, and then Bill Oddie on BBC4, by that time 10pm and not a thing done:eek:

Popped on here and saw Kyle's news, posted a reply regarding lo showing off his pot and got edited out for using a rude word/phrase with an s in front of it, which never entered my head until it was edited:rotfl: :rotfl:

Rchddap1 - You have to keep on top of solicitors today it seems. I came back from holiday and spoke to my DN(ephew) who was in the middle of a house purchse to find him in a mess and getting nowhere with the solicitor appointed. Gave advise on what he had to do and he wrote a script and tried, I spoke to him around 10.30am and it was still going nowhere, asked permission to ring on his behalf which was given gratefully. By 11 am he had a phone call back from them - sorted and back on track, and I didnt raise my voice once, but certainly made them feel inefficient!

Angelraesunshine Birthday/Father's Day cards from a Supermarket!! that is a MS crime, you can get much nicer ones locally I am sure, we have a card shop in our village where they are a fraction of the supermarket prices, and more choice. :T :T

Amie Diet restarting tomorrow you said!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

At w*rk today so better get on.
