Thanks Tilly and Earthgirl. It was a milestone I wanted to get to, even though it is perhaps not that meaningful as the ISA is committed to 'project retirement' and I wouldn't want to touch the emergency fund as Mr Watty's job is always being 'restructured' or 'under review' and I'm self employed so I need to keep working at this mortgage.
Gorgeous day out there
Washing on line and now at desk but think I might go and defrost the freezer in the house shortly. That could count as a declutter as it seems rather full of goodness knows what.......Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Freezer done. (91) Whatever can one use industrial quantities of lemon grass for ... Can't help but think really must try harder with the menu planning. Currently everything is living in Freezer on yard. Will move veggies and things used for quick meals for one back to house freezer in a bit.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Bit of a spendy day so far. Collected new reading glasses taking Mr Watty and the dog with me. Mr Watty's wardrobe very much the worse for wear so popped in to very cheap store and bought him some T-shirts at £2.50 each to wear around the house. Then he decided he and the dog would like lunch out so we stopped at at a caf! which luckily was still serving breakfasts. Sat in the sun and had delicious English breakfast with tea. Yummy. Dog loved meeting people. Very nice. If only I was retired I could spend my days like this
Back to office, 18 calls to return and a pile of work. Still will earn some money today which makes the end come a little bit closer each timeMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Lovely evening yesterday. Local village has a week long music festival and 4 of us pals went along to the opera - very cultural
- it was fabulous. Excellent singing, great acting and a lovely way to spend the evening.
Slightly sore point was that I bought 5 tickets at £20 each and one person didn't turn up - so I'm down £20 on his ticket. Mr Watty told me not to worry about it but I was cross.
Didn't let it spoil evening though. And I picked up a programme and there are lots of free events next week outside so if the weather is nice I'm hoping to pop along to a couple.
Talking of weather where did the sun go? Was hoping to take Handsome baby out today but its very wet here this morning.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
