This is a lovely thing to come in and read. Take your time to adjust, breathe and relax x

Absolutely thrilled for you Watty! I'm sure there are a good few hoops to jump through yet but you are winning the battles. I hope you feel better each day, you have been under so much constant stress for years now, it will take a while to adjust!Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

Still struggling to make the adjustment and the awareness this is now in the closing stages.
Nothing from his solicitor yet but I'm sitting quietly for now and just waiting. My legal bills are way too high this month owing to a lot of rubbish letters and emails from them which I will query because the wasted time going down a road I specifically told them not too.
In MSE news because I suppose there should be some as I am here, I cancelled all streaming services and shared the log in details for one with a friend because it runs until next January (I had forgotten it until it appeared on my card). We are unlikely to use it at the same time and it was paid annually.
Mood very down. I do however like what @Humdinger1 wrote that relationships cannot keep going based on a lie even if they did not start that way. I think we were both unhappy for a long time.
Also a bit anxious re keeping a somewhat rambling and in need of much repair work place going for the next few years. Very aware I will need help and will chat with local farmer about repairing fencing but will wait until place is mine before actually spending the money on that.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Watty I have been following your diaries for some years having been drawn in by the exploits of Most Hansome and his mysterious lameness and just wanted to wish you the best of luck going forward. I know you have the strength and resourcefulness to make it work for you once you have full control. Really admire you for sticking with it rather than just walking away and am looking forward to seeing your diary getting back to important things like poo vacuums instead of legal wrangling with rubbish ex.6

Ramouth, that made me actually lol!! But you're quite right, there's been too much legal stuff and not enough horsing around happening here lately - it'll be lovely for Watty to get back to horse-enjoyment and poo vacuuming!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Thank you @Ramouth for your kind thoughts.
Ex wants to sort goods and chattels and finally I found out why as he is interested in stuff that can be sold. I suspect the poo hoover will therefore be on the list. See just for you all reading I combined horse poo hoovering with legal cr*p.
I have checked the value of his car which can also be put on the table if he mentions the farm stuff and the horsebox. That should cancel out each other nicely.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
