Second what atb says - you yourself said the pub wasn't much fun - its all very well spending money if you're going to get enjoyment out of it (life is for (balanced) living), but if it's not joyful then KM it ;)

Yes! Think that one is dumped.
Lovely coffee morning with pals. £2.25 spent and lots of great business ideas there and came away motivated and happy.
Back to the grind though and soon fed up with it all again! If only I could KM the need to work :rotfl:
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Was so excited about the new mortgage for the BTL - was going to save a considerable amount with unlimited repayments - :( The broker did not tell the truth! I thought it was too good to be true and after 2 months of wasting everyone's time with valuations and sending off paperworks the final paperwork arrived today and the overpayments are limited to 10%. Not happy with broker!

Meh! :(:( I wouldn't be happy with that either.
Are you going to look for a different deal?

Undecided. I want to be able to overpay but I don't really have much of a plan - well a plan to be truthful - :rotfl: so a fix would save me £70 ish a month but if I can only overpay 10% on a deal that offers me a 2.2 % interest then having played with sums on a bit of paper I am not sure its worth it.... yes I know I can get 5% on some savings if I save monthly and I'm losing £70 a month but I'm all about the grand gestures with this mortgage lark and I like knowing when I have a sensible sum I can overpay.

Developing the business sounds good - I need to do some of that too.

That's rubbish about the broker/mortgage. Sounds like a difficult decision to make!

    Hair cut.
Overpayment made so need to update signature.
Review of progress: was tackling sleep and actually this is going fairly well. Also drinking water and more mindful dental care. All doing reasonably well.
Mood not great and still rather down which I think is predominately stress related so have filled in an assessment to see if I qualify for some CBT style counselling via GP. Should hear next week.
