This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

So we have spent the weekend thinking and discussing and arguing and laughing.
There are three reasons for not going to Cornwall:- I know a lot of people here and potentially could have a nice life if only I didn't have to work so hard and so much.
- An elderly pony who we love dearly and are not sure about moving
- Mr Watty's parents. Dad as you know is beyond stressful and his mother is in her 70s and .......
So we have decided to investigate further. Will be going to see the house, and, even if this house is not 'the one' we are going to continue decluttering stuff so that we could go if we found somewhere.
Thank you all for your encouragementsMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Assuming the pony would be moving with Most Handsome, I would think he'd adjust ok.
Good plan re: decluttering, we're in that stage ourselves and while I find it a bit stressful how much stuff we're not decluttering and will have to pack/move, it is so nice to realise how much excess we can shed.0 -
Spoken to the estate agent. And it is all very possible. Mr Watty has spoken to his boss who actually asked if there was anything he could do to change the shift system to make life easier. That was a surprise. Mr Watty however feels that a downshift would be a better option !!!
Just need to sort out when we can get there now to view property.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

It's become real to you! Thats the feeling of "would I pay to transport this?" If not, out it goesIn clearing my mum's house, we've been making lots of those decisions, about stuff of a fair size like bedframes, and tiny things, like an Observer book of English churches!
