If she's gaining weight and looking better, it's probably fine. :) Our boy cat is a delicate flower, which is the main concern I have with him being fed - it's our bed he throws up on! :rotfl:

Having worked 17 days without a break I am feeling exhausted. Had a shower mid afternoon and sat and read for a while. Just got to get through to Saturday.....

Cat came in at 8 and had some fish. She is clearly feeling much better and this morning explored the inside of the dishwasher washing machine and microwave. As I said out and removed her each time she ran to the back door. I figure she knows what that word means bless her. She has gone from being a little thing that slept all day to a cat clearly having too many E numbers in her diet :rotfl:
Should add I only give her fish so the E numbers are not my responsibility!

Totally behind today. Decided that most handsome should practice going in the lorry. It took 3 hours out of my morning....he did go in eventually but 3 hours....argh!
Wondering if I should splash out and get some professional help or just do a bit more practising sessions and see how it goes. He used to load just fine so not sure where this has all come from.

I found the minute I wanted to "work on" something like that, it took ages and was super frustrating. (Loading, standing still at the mounting block, what-have-you). If it just became a very quick/easy part of the routine most days (hey, let's have a cookie next to the lorry/mounting block on our way in from the field!) then it was easier to progress to "now the cookie only appears if you put your front feet in the lorry", etc.

Of course, that only helps if you don't need those behaviours anytime soon! I do think they read our body/mental state far better than we know, though. :) Hope Most Handsome remembers that he does have good trailering manners!

I think Most Handsome has a stubbon streak, and, an issue about being on the lorry. Combined that isn't good :) Also he is not motivated by food which is unusual for a pony.
We will however have to work on this. The loading practice was prompted me wanting to get out and do some more this summer. More on that later. Am working on a plan and some goals around this.

Quickie post as excited by the KM process and my wardrobe. Have to go to an AGM tomorrow and was feeling a bit blah about what to wear and thinking I only have one outfit that I wear all the time. Spent a bit of time surfing on line looking for a nice unstructured work suit for this type of event, saw nothing that 'sparked joy' and also realised this could blow much of my budget (Crazy Clothing Challenge). Then remembered everything in my wardrobe is supposed to spark joy so thought there had to be something other than the outfit I wear just about everywhere. Went and looked. Found a skirt my mum bought me maybe 20 years ago, will team that with a green T-shirt, a grey jacket, a blue scarf and the most gorgeous gloves in a tan colour that once belonged to my grandmother. I love every item. The outfit, matches, tones, is definitely unique and fabulous. How wonderful was that?

Well done for persevering for three hours. He had a lesson there about human v horse tenacity.

It just shows that it's possible to put a few separates together in a new combination, and you feel you have some entirely new outfits. I'll be doing some 'wardrobe works' in the next few weeks, so you'll be my inspiration

Goldie you are back. How wonderful :j
Been busy with work over last few days so not had a chance to update and so tired spent most of Good Friday and today on sofa.
Sadly income not apparent from efforts as yet but am feeling ok with that as there is money in the company and it is nice not to have the stress of pulling every penny out as was doing this time last year to overpay. Once I can start overpaying the BTL mortgage will be back to doing that. For now just enjoying the settled feeling.
