This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

Where do the days go. The V&A was a lovely afternoon then back to work Tuesday and now its Friday afternoon.
Went to a training session on Wednesday which took up most of the day and heard two colleagues had died. Surprised. There were only my age. Certainly made me a bit reflective.
Along that lines have entered Most Handsome for a fun competition on Sunday. Hope my entry form got there in time. We are doing a Trec competition. Not entirely sure what we have to do as haven't had time to research it. Entering was a bit of a thumbs up to my own mortality reaction really!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Morning Watty, it certainly focuses the mind on what is really important when you lose people.
Hope Most Handsome enjoys Sunday

I hope so. I feel sick at the thought of it all now (see below)Tilly_MFW_in_6_YRS wrote: »How is kitty doing?

Kitty is very well and I'm sure she would thank you for kindly enquiring after her and then ask if you could open another tin of sardines. Please. Wail.... Her coat is growing back nicely and most of the bald patches are now covered with some fluff, she has definitely gained weight and rather than sleep all day she wants to play now and potters in and out.
Its really difficult because they are putting her out very early and often not calling her in until around midnight. It will be easier when the weather is warmer but for now the underweight scrap shelters by our wood-burning stove.
I have become more fond of her than I should have.smallholdingsister wrote: »Is trec endurance riding?
No not really. There is a maps section where you have to follow a course. But there is also an obstacle section. The event we are doing is a 'fun one' with obstacles. I feel sick at the thought of it now. Most Handsome spooks when he steps on a branch and is worried about everything with an utter dislike of anything flapping or sticks. We will have to go over a bridge, do a small jump, walk over/through water, pick up a coat and carry it to another part of the course where we will hang it up and do a maypole thing..... plus a few other horrors. Why I decided to do this is beyond me now. Luckily we can miss out some obstacles if we want, and just not score the points. One part requires me to mount from the ground which I'm not even sure I can do as saddle is treeless and I can't use my left arm
Will do best one can and am telling myself we are the bravest pair there because we are at least turning up knowing it scares us.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

sorry to hear you've lost *two* of your colleagues, even as these thing go, that's a bit shocking
Hope you're okay. The Trec reaction sounds a great idea.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
When Plops goes showjumping with A we work to personal bests.
Her next outing will have the target to clear at least the first five jjmps!0 -
That's a lovely idea Smallholding. So I think my target is to go in the ring for the in-hand. Once I've done that I've achieved. Thanks for the great planMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
