So in non financial and therefore possibly more interesting news Mr Watty has been helping with the teaching of Most Handsome to go in lorry and thanks to their wonderful combined efforts Most Handsome now walks in and calmly has his meal while the dividing section bars are locked in place. How clever is that? Of both Most Handsome and Mr Watty :)
And Kitty still visiting. She pops in most days around 7 am, traipses in and out during the day and hates it when I turf her out at around 8.30 to go home. They don't call her in some days until 10 pm (she was here last night till they did - I sat and shivered by the stove with the door open so I could hear when they call her). But she is so much stronger, plays, is no longer skin and bone and rarely sleeps unlike those first few days. I've become quite fond of the little scrap which is yet another black mark for Mr&Mrs Laurel Hedges and their callous treatment of Kitty.
And finally completely fed up with shoulder pain. I think its partly why I have been so worn out. Anyway have spent a bit of time researching and have found on line a four week postural alignment set of recordings. Have started on week 1. 2 days in and hip pain has cleared up so maybe this will work. Tis my focus for the next four weeks - to do anything and everything I can to fix shoulder pain.

four week postural alignment set of recordings - is this something you can do by yourself at home, Watty? I'd be interested in having a look if you wouldn't mind sharing? - I suffer from hip and shoulder pain and it's really affecting my sleep at the moment

Great news re MH - clever boy (and Mr Watty :D)

    That sounds fascinating, Watty.

And poor kitty! Thank heavens she found you and Mr Watty :)

  • Great news on the loading progress :)
Years ago one of mine was a bad loader, once she would go in ok, I would get dropped off at the other end of the valley then hack back with her a couple times a week so going out in the trailer was part of 'everyday' life!
Good news that the postural alignment is helping, I've not heard of that before but have had Bowen treatments which work on realigning your body.

Huge fan of Bowen too Eating the Elephant - but - it hasn't helped shoulder. However it might in association with the bits I'm doing now. So that is a good thought.
Greent I'll pm you a link, yes its free, there are a set of exercises you do everyday. No idea if it will help shoulder but I'm desperate so will try anything at this point.

I'd be curious about the postural exercises as well, it's definitely something I need to work on. :) Hope they help you.

    .
This is a great idea. I'm thinking about how we could do this here. Since the toll ride closed the hacking is not great but even if he went to the end of the road and hacked back that might be worth it. Thank you :)

PMd the links to you as well Hidden Shadow.
Lazy day here, now roasting a chicken bought cheap at Christmas (is huge so lots of left overs) served with frozen mashed carrot and swede, frozen cauliflower cheese and a few peas for green and frozen gravy. Totally loving the meal plan cook up we did. Seems to have gone a bit wrong as we have masses of chicken curry in freezer but still have had great meals for little effort and saved money too :j

Enjoyed the first of the lighter evenings with Most Handsome and realised that all that time off last year and the winter has taken toll on confidence so will be working on that over next few weeks.
Planned to do something this morning but decided against it due to high winds. No time this pm as off to the V&A later to see the Botticelli exhibition. Time to go look smarter than currently do after laying on floor etc :)
