Problem. The neighbours cat is keen on moving in. Watty dog used to keep all cats off 'his' land but since Wattydog has gone we have had a lot of feline visitors. This cat belongs to Mr and Mrs Laurel Hedges so no chance of a reasonable discussion about said cat. It is clearly underfed and has fleas. It has spent the last 2 days mostly in our house although I keep opening the door for it to go out it runs back in the moment we open the door. I confess I have today given in and fed it some sardines and bought it a flea treatment off Amaz0n. I am now a few quid down and feeling guilty but I can't leave it flea ridden - especially if it keeps coming in here.
The neighbours call it in usually at night and then put it back out in the morning. Today they called it in mid afternoon, it was in for 5 mins, then tipped back outside. From the way it behaves here it is not much of an outdoor cat.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Poor neighbourhood kitty.
I hope the flea treatment works, at least.

DD's cat also visits neighbours but he is flea free and well fed. He does have a tendency to come home with toys he's stolen though .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

This cat is clearly not well fed. Poor thing. Spent the morning by the woodburner and amusing Mr Watty and now gone to sunbathe in the garden.
Either that or it is appalled by the fact I came home and de-flead it and removed a few tangles from its coat. Just hope it doesn't turn out to be allergic to the flea drops. Now they are not the best ones to use but local vet wouldn't hand out any without a consultation and I'm not doing that!
Will scrounge something stronger from a pal in case cat keeps visiting.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Mrs Laurel Hedges popped round to pick up a parcel I had taken in for her. Cat left via back door as she stood on door step :rotfl: and returned when coast was clear. I have put him outside early evening and told cat to go home.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
