Spent much of the afternoon parcelling up china sold on bay of e. Despite hording "stuffing" for this event I didn't have nearly enough and ended up feeding scrap paper through the shredder to make protective packaging inside boxes. Took an age. Still some paper decluttered too - lets make it a positive.
Money for saddle sold on face book has been transferred to bank.
All looking positive financially I am thinking.
Although I now have to hoover the office as it is covered in bits of shredded paper!

Sounds good! You're very courageous to sell china on ebay - I couldn't face it! I have a Felix teapot and bone china mugs to sell, and I'm going to do it on the local page on facebook, at least there someone will pop round to pick it up!

I've sold it before like that KC. I know it is quite collectable and so will fetch a better price if I sell it that way. So I've been hanging on to small boxes and keeping those little fluffy chip things as well. It does travel well if well packed although it is a gamble but one I'm prepared to take. A storage jar I've owned for a while but bought for about £6 sold for £38! Well pleased

I have £3 of unused Tesc0 vouchers. I need to login to reclaim then. I do not know my password. The reminder email links do not work.
This bugs me so I call them.
Three people later and 25 mins later I but the unused notification through the shredder.
Some things are just not worth claiming - the effort was getting out of proportion to the reward!

Tesc0 Cl0bcard customer service is hard work - I have spent hours and hours on the phone to them - someone logged into my account at the beginning of last July, changed my password and email and spent £150 of my vouchers.... it's still not fully sorted out now!!

Spent 5 hours today on M25, mostly stationary. Not good.
Home to find Fell pony has lost a shoe and is lame.
the only bright spot was receiving something in the post that came in a very nice container suitable for holding "stuff" in drawer as part of organising KM style.
Clearly March not a lot better than year to date!

Have sold another of those "things" that I don't know what they are. Someone offered £32 on a 'buy it now" and I accepted happily. Waiting for them to pay now.

Am hoping Mr Watty might find some more of them in the barn. Ebayingsales have halted for the moment as I have a lot of work related stuff coming up and can only cope with so much at one time. Have KM'd a few more items to go later in the month though.

Yes. Last lent I did a 40 bags in 40 days challenge and 40 bags of stuff left the house. It made a huge difference and I would have said I was fairly decluttered. But, having read the KonMarie book and got really inspired I'm working on keeping the stuff I love and releasing some clutter


Bit challenging as I've been reading on faceache about how one just gets rid of everything and replaces it with joy bringing items. No way am I doing that. But grouping things together has meant a lot is being released and for some items I'm just on a use up campaign - so the non joy bringing socks are being worn till they wear out for example. Its my MSE interpretation. I think it will take much of the year to get through the house but it is working well. We've now an empty chest of drawers and a huge wicker storage trunk was sold for £10 via the bay of e.
