I tried to claim my wine last week, then was not I'm not eligable as I clicked on the MSE web site and that offer was withdrawn, even though the offer was still valid on the Virgin Web site.
Has anyone else had this issue?0 -
Has anyone cancelled their card yet, after receiving the wine? I haven't used mine and want to cancel it, but I'm scared they'll shout at me on the phone for just abusing their kindness.
By the way, to those having trouble, I only got the link to order my wine after I activated the card (not just received it).0 -
Finally got through to the 0845 number - answered straight away this time - and noticed that they dont answer as "Virgin Wine Incentive team" but as "Virgin Money" so they are not just dealing with us wine claimers.
However, a very nice lady took my details and no quibbles has taken my request for red and says I should hear from them within the week or if not, wine should be with me within 2 weeks..We shall see.
And I havent received a single email from Virgin about the wines or anything else since applying, and receiving/registering my card over 6 weeks ago now....0 -
Hi
I have chased this wine offer when taking out Virgin CC - I followed link from MSE site and filled in paperwork - got CC accepted on 29/8/13 but no mention of wine. Phoned them - "oh yer we'll sort that" No wine. Phoned again " oh yer we'll sort that" No wine. Phoned again - The 31/8/13 dead line was for direct applications If you used the link from MSE site the deadline was much earlier, & before I was accepted So guess I wont be getting the wine offer. did you get the case of wine?0 -
Received the wine yesterday - and enjoyed the first bottle...0

Pleased you have received your wine flyingtoga. And that it is enjoyable!
Ours is of "cook with" standard only really. Plus we now have an extra bit of plastic to worry about.0 -
Thanks David,
You are right, not a great wine, but enjoyed none the less...and I would say worth less than £5 per bottle on the supermarket shelves.
Also, I haven't had any impact on my other credit cards, probably not MBNA though...0
