My email came through as soon as I activated my card. Clicked the link in the email and they say delivery in 14 days. Will let you know when it arrives.

I applied throught MSE when it was first announced and there is no mention of any wine bank in any of the T&C's - is someone getting this confused with another offer?
  • I have an email entitled "you new virgin Credit card" stating all the benefits etc. and I actually have the card....but no mention of the wine! :'(
  • I first received the "your new Virgin Credit Card email", which was then followed by a "You have picked your card now choose your wine" email.

Check your junk/spam folders as mine ended up in there.
  • How long was it between getting the first email and getting the wine offer?

They take £XX out of your bank account and place it into a account that allows you to purchase wine from them.

    Linky

They also add an extra 20% to your wine bank balance (e.g. you pay in £20 per month they credit your Virgin Wine bank account with £24).

    Update from me...........

Ordered Thursday 29th and got home today to find the case sat on my doorstep.

Happy with that and also pleased to see I have some very honest neighbours!

I received my card acceptance email on the 29th Aug. Pin number received, and then today Card. Following an automated phone call to activate the card, the machine transferred me to "Margaret", (who had no idea why!) She transferred me to the Virgin Helpline, (would have been premium rate if she hadn't organised the transfer via the 0800 number I had rung.) They said, second email should arrive middle or end of next week.
A bit more of a faff on, than for many of you by the look of things!
