    Walk with friend decluttered.

WM1 on the line and 2 just spinning

    All upstairs window sills cleaned
    Landing dusted
    DS3 room dusted
    Toilet bowls cleaned.

Time for a cuppa and then a shower before hitting the shops.

Towels out on the line, shower curtain, clothes and bath mat I missed in the second wash. Cats played in the garden whilst hanging the washing, both now very happy. Plants watered. Kitchen S&S and most dailies completed before 10:30am :D

Starting to feel this keeping house business isn't as stressful as I used to think it was.

    Morning all :D

Been up since 6am as I booked a Mr A delivery for 7-9am, the next free slot clashed with the dentists and I know we have to go into town to run an errand (or two....) so I wanted the delivery out the way ASAP ;)

Both beds are stripped, but I'll do laundry tomorrow so clothes we're wearing today can be thrown in as well ;) Calender updated, livingroom is as tidy as it can be with various laundry things around. DD has sorted out her school bag, just her uniform & PE kit to iron, packed lunch to make, bus pass to renew (errand in town) and bath to have and she will be sorted for school tomorrow :D Just 1 day short of 7 weeks is way way way too long for school holidays :o:rotfl:

    Plan for today:
Dentists (11.30am-11.50am double appointment, but she's not getting too close to my teeth! I'll rebook for a proper check up when the swelling/pain has gone down!)
Town - bus pass & anything else I think of...
    Ironing - uniform taking priority
Paid stuff - newsletter (including apology for being late with it!), prepare books

Off to get my bag ready, and chase DD to clean her teeth before we go the dentists. We need to aim to leave here about 11am so we can be out the house by 11.15 and be there on time. ;)

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Time to think about going to work for the first time in 6 weeks....

but I'll put another washload on first - I have nearly cleared it all - pity the beds all need changing...

Waiting for my next conference call before I can start moving boxes out of the living room to the spare room. Only able to do the light boxes though, will leave the bigger ones for OH :)

TD fixified :D no more pegging out of socks and skimpies :D:D:D:D:D:D

kitchen half swept.. the table needs moving before I can do the rest of it so it will have to wait until I can stir OH out of his chair.

WMs filled but not quite everything in so not turned on.

    Cuppa first!

Bathroom given a quick once over, it's clean since DD is away!
Kitchen tidied and surfaces wiped down.
ALL "EVERYDAY" IRONING DONE, INCLUDING 3 SETS OF CRUMPLED BEDDING, 2 PAIRS OF MY SUIT TROUSERS AND 10 DRESSY BLOUSES!!!!!!!
The area of bedroom under and around the bay window is empty for the first time in ages, I will have this room cleared this month!
I have run out of coathangers, so will pop out to buy some, threw out all the old ones and have been replacing with non slip ones as they take up less space in the wardrobes! This will give my back a rest from ironing, and I will start the holiday clothes this afternoon and sort out what I am taking away!
I have done 3xWM, including all my working uniforms to freshen them up, will iron them later too, and have stripped my bed and left it to air.
Have also managed an hour's chat and coffee with my brother who has just left! Waiting for the WM to finish spinning, will get the last load out then go to the shops.
    RIP Iain

Hope all goes well for pudd'n-cat.

My skimpies are merrily fluttering in the breeze - I managed to get the 2nd wash on before the cheaper leccy ceased this morning, so I'll have clean unmentionables to take away with me.:D

I've also hand-washed my black t-shirt with a silver wolf on it (don't like to risk it in the WM) and the BM is on. Later I have some elderflower wine to bottle - Mr LW has lifted the demi-john into the kitchen for me.:A

I need to brush my hair in a bit - Mr LW didn't have time to do it for me this morning (I can't raise my arms that high first thing in the morning); the idea is also to do 30 mins on the WiiFit in a mo, and then *drum roll* apply some face moisturiser!! This will be the first time in several moinths! I have gallons of the stuff, a lot of it free samples, but I never get around to using it normally.

Belated Happy Anniversary to Mr & Mrs HoneyBear.

Currently ignoring DS whilst he faffs with his lunch again. Been playing at friends house at top of street, he's only going afternoons this week too.

DD taken sweeties to nursery, they said they will bake this morning and do candles for her at lunchtime :A so I expect her to be well practiced in blowing them out for tonight, lol. I will collect her on the way to pick up DS so she can come see his teacher / classroom.

Other than that, I have roughly 2 hours to myself this afternoon, to prep the tea party and clean the house  ah well I shall have no-one under my feet...

We did pop up to town this morning and got her a helium balloon :D

Right, I'll go collect clothes debris upstairs whilst he is "eating"

    Nappies in the bin
Laundry brought down from my room

Off to load the DW and get lunch for the tiddlers. DS2 had one of OH's size 13 walking boots placed up his butt to get his college place sorted! I'm not having him slobbing about thinking he can sponge from me for a year..
