Have gone from being calm and collected to being totally out of control and it only took an hour.

Every time I try to do something I'm being interrupted and having to take on yet another task. Ultra ultra frustrated by today.

    *and breathe*

ETA: The cake is absolutely lovely Bossy, lucky lucky Mini Moo. How on earth do you manage to have such a tidy background Pigpen in all your photographs? Nowhere here looks as fresh as that. Beautiful kiddiewinks btw. I hope Mr Ionafan has calmed down. Thank you good wishes about our anniversary.
    Better is good enough.

Put the cake in the oven and started on the LR, hoping the cake rises this time...I'm a beginner baker and they tend to come out quite biscuity :(

    hello flyfriends
My train tickets have arrived for the Birmingham flymeet - Tuesday 29th October - so I'll be in Birmingham even if no-one else makes it :rotfl:

I shall be there - I just don't need to buy a ticket as I have a West Midlands bus pass which can also be used on our local trains :money: Very much looking forward to seeing old flyfriends again and making new ones

That's exactly how I've been feeling, HB. Thank you to everyone for calming vibes. The tiler is coming back to finish off the bathroom next week, and my DH is being civilised now and wants to take me out for tea and cake... which I shall accept despite the terms of my personal challenge: we are getting 3 months' free membership of SW through the GP referral scheme :money: but the vouchers haven't arrived yet, so DH reckons that the challenge doesn't start until we actually sign up with SW :p
DD4 is so quick and has a penchant for electrical cables
She sounds exactly like my DGD2 who is about the same age

Well this cake is better than the last one :D it's risen slightly although the gas oven is going to take some getting used to as one side is slightly biscuity...OH will eat it no doubt :D

Off to go and get paint before the shop closes and a bike thingy to go on the wall for OH from L1dl.

Kerri - what was you baking - and what do you use ie I always use plain flour and add baking powder. I also prefer to use butter rather than marg.

DS3 loved his second day. He won the cross country race out of all the boys in his new year group, he is so chuffed.

Just finishing my cuppa then HH flying before doing dinner.
