Kerri - what was you baking - and what do you use ie I always use plain flour and add baking powder. I also prefer to use butter rather than marg.
I was making a victoria sponge, 175g butter, caster sugar, self-raising flour, 3 eggs. I normally mess them up because I overbeat at the adding flour stage, but there were lots of bubbles in it this time :D

Just been to get the paint, stopped into L1dl and came back with tinned spaghetti for lunches and butter plus the rack I went in for. Man in paint shop gave me last months discount as he recognised me :D he didn't do that for me on Sunday hmph!

Off to tackle the pile of washing up before moving a few more things from the LR, although feeling really tired now. Shall have a piece of cake to perk me up :D

Dentist decluttered for a few more days, I'm back there again on Monday. Had another 2 x-rays, given more amoxicillin, told to go back so she can check on the progress of my wound which isn't looking too good hence more antibiotics, I need a filling repaired and I think I need other fillings, but she's also going to give my teeth a good clean :o I was also told to go and buy a childs toothbrush so I can clean my wisdom teeth better so I got a Di5ney Princess one and now DD is very embarrassed :D :rotfl:

Managed to go to town on the errands, decluttered near on £100 on bus passes! DDs was £80 but valid until 20th Dec, then I bought 4 day passes at £3+ each but they are cheaper then the ones I usually get and I can get more buses with them ;) Bought DD a new crochet hook & thicker wool. She wants to crochet herself a scarf for school, its a handy skill to have so I'm not complaining! Didn't manage to get the fresh meat or the circular knitting needle I went for so I'll go again next week when I'm feeling a bit better. The pain had started in my face after being pulled and prodded by the dentist and I was exhausted so we came home.

Dinner is in the slowcooker, I've fixed my new ironing board and put a couple of old covers on it. I hate the mesh as it tends to leave a pattern on tshirts so I always have multiple covers. Discovered the old board has actually rusted right through! Just going to iron DD's necessary uniform, for this week, then I've got paid stuff to do. DD is currently in the bath having a good scrub before she's back to school tomorrow :j:j I love her to bits, but 1 day short of 7 weeks off is too much when she only had a short weekend away at the beginning of August. Normally she has a couple of weekends or a week!

Hoping for relatively normal service to resume next week, I think I'm just going to write this week off and do what I can when I can :o

  • Back to catch up with Fred.....Listy will just have to wait :rotfl:

I decided to use the mechanical sheep of the remains of the weeds on the front garden, slow going as there are big rocks, roots and stumps all over the place.

5 bags of chewed weeds and 3 washings baskets of rubble, litter and large twigs later, I decided to call it a night......I have decided to load the car in the morning as I was welcomed to a number of spider webs upon entry this morning.

All showered so I could restart Daisy mode, and now I don't want to do anything.

Maybe I will have a brew and start again in a bit
The cold never bothered me anyway

Wine all bottled and labelled; as I had the pc with the printer switched on to do the labels, I also printed the route for our holiday - one less task to do at the weekend.;)

Mr LW should be home any minute, dins is the 2nd half of the pasta bake I made yesterday; it was experimental, but turned out delicious.:T Choccie mousse for pud; the recipe makes enough for 4 helpings so we have that two days running as well.

I was hoping to test the laptop after Mr LW helped me fix it, but I've run out of time, as I had a gazillion emails to plough through - mostly online surveys (mega-boring, but the Amazon vouchers are very useful).
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
