Oh what a relief Dusty!
DD loved her cake! :T she squealed when she saw it and exclaimed "it's a pig castle!" Lol which of course came out as "cathel" :rotfl:
We had our little tea party, and she has done well for gifts: the little palace play set I got her, extra princesses and fairies from DS, a very cute toy guinea pig from my mum and various bits and bobs from my brother and the inlaws.
She was ever so good, and took her time, looked at each gift and let DS open one too :A no strops and happily let him play with her stuff. She's taken the guinea to bed with her...
But, on a flying note, the LR looks like toys r us has barfed on it, so I will need to find homes for all her stuff. She is having a party on Saturday and I suspect that will involve more stuff being brought home
Might have to find some more tubs...
Can't believe she's three!Bossymoo

That's great news Dusty
Had the Glamorgan sausages this evening with wedges, beans and egg...didn't need the egg and oh my the flavour of those sausages! They were quite simply amazing.
OH says I have now made the shower curtain too short eugh, so shall have to measure properly and buy a new one. Any recommendations on plastic or cloth?

Heard today that a troubled teen at school has been Sectioned and is being treated in a secure unit. I feel it is probably a good place for her to be right now but thoughts and prayers would be appreciated to support her."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Boss 'what are you doing tomorrow'
Valli 'Cleaning my bathroom'
Boss 'no - we need you here'...we are having building done and there is no security system on the temporary main door - I am to sit by it ALL DAY and monitor usage and stop nutters...
oh good. I have lined up other things to do to keep me busy and found a transistor radio for IF it's quiet;) And I'm on a course the day after I take DS to Uni so I now can't stay home and cry all day....
so I have come home from work and made another 10 jars of bramble jelly...
and ironed...
and DD will have to stay home to let the gas man in...
Good worktops! Great minds and all that. Never knew that was a M&S jar...some of my jars get reused multiple times. For the first time in AGES I now have more full jam jars than empty ones!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
