Good morning everyone, This week has not gone to plan so far as I had hoped to start flying on Monday but on reflection was probably not a wise idea as I also started back at college on Monday so I have not got much done as yet.

    My list for this week

    Monday Mayhem ~ Krazy Kitchen
Clear the floor of unnecessary gibble
    Mop/hoover the floor
Shine the sink and draining board. Make those taps shine and twinkle..
Wipe down worktops and wipe down all small electricals.
Rehome anything that is out of place
Clean inside the microwave. A good tip is to heat up a cup of water in the microwave - the steam shifts all the yukky stuff on the microwave
Clean the window and windowsill. Rehome anything that shouldn't be there
Sort through your cookery books/magazines. Are there any that you don't need that are just taking up space? Rehome them to the local charity shop...
    15 fling boogie
    Deweb, don't forget those corners
    Clean light fittings/switches
    Wipe down the doors
    Empty those smelly bins
Clean that cupboard under the sink!!!
    Distribute Avon books
    HHI
    Go to lectures at college
    School and childcare runs

    Twinkling Tuesday ~ Bouncing Bedroom
Clear the floor of anything that doesn't belong there..
    Hoover the floor
    Empty any bins
Strip the bed and remake with fresh clean bedding
    Dust surfaces
Polish mirrors and any other shiny surfaces...
Turn and vacuum mattress - do NOT do it if you are unable to or pregnant..get a nice partner/hubby/child to do it for you.
Sort through the wardrobe - is there anything that you don't need or can be rehomed.
    Clean the light switches
Clear one drawer in the dressing table/chest of drawers
Clean the window - make it sparkle in the sunshine
    Clear and clean the windowsill
    HHI
Any last minute shopping for those with kiddies going back to school on Thursday. Make a list of what you need so that you don't forget anything at the last minute.
    Go to lectures at college
    School and childcare runs

    Whimsical Wednesday ~ Barnacled Bathroom
    Empty bins
Clear all empty bottles/toothpaste tubes etc.. Do we really need to keep that empty box of q-tips.
    Change flannels/sponges
    Clean sink and bath
Shine the taps, don't forget to get underneath the taps with a toothbrush.
Clear floor of any stuff that shouldn't be there - towels if they are dirty should be in the laundry bin.
    Hoover/mop floor
Clear out the medicine cabinet - if you have any out of date medicine make sure it's bagged up properly and either bin it securely or take to the nearest chemist for disposal.
Replace those manky towels for lovely fresh towels.
    Clean windowsill
Last minute checks to see if you have everything for your little ones going back/starting school
    Clean windows
    Wash curtains

    Dot dressed
    girls fed
    5 kicked out/deposited at school
Baby still in bed.. she got there at 7:15 after keeping me awake from 2:45am.. toad!!
Cat checked on.. he is fine but crying to go out, I'm going to speak to the vet in a minute and see if he is ok to be outside in the rabbit run (without the rabbit not that he would do anything to him, the rabbit is more likely to bother the cat!!)

Dot has been sobbing at the door because DS3 went to school 'Doodloo gone, doodloo back!' while laid on the floor in the hallway.. then we had bumped heads (also Dots fault) so more tears..

Off to make a cuppa then I'll speak to the vet and crack on with kicking DS2.

:rotfl: Tempting the missing one back, or rewarding the other two for good behaviour, Dusty? :rotfl:
So pleased to hear better news for your friend.

Helen, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Mr Jelly. Pop in and see us whenever you can.

Froddy, thinking of your pupil. My friend's mother (91) is on the verge of being sectioned. It's very hard on the families.

kerri, it is never too early for breakfast with cake - the French and Germans are masters of the art :D

So far this morning I have
    - finished writing a report and agenda
    - decluttered breakfast
    - started WM
    - moved the laundry basket and new chest of drawers.
    I still have to
    - finish 5 display boards
    - make phonecalls about choir and U3A
    - look for a staircase light

Two of the garden gang have arrived and are waiting for their boss who is bringing more bricks - hopefully they will finish the work today and we will just have the carpenter (brother of the kitchen fitter) here tomorrow, sorting out the problems which the previous carpenter didn't want to deal with  The plaster has nearly dried out in the lounge so we shall be cracking open the pot of emulsion very soon :)

Nicky healing mouth vibes for you

Decided to do 45 minutes in the garden, deadheading and a little light pruning and colleting some foxglove seeds.

    Wash 1 on the line
    Wash 2 in progress

Had a tiff with DS1 but made up before he went to work.

  • Hi all

Helenj hugs to you and your DH, you'll both be in my thoughts

Well today is my 'me mountain challenge' day
I'm [STRIKE]nervous[/STRIKE]/[STRIKE]apprehensive[/STRIKE] not sure how to explain it. I also feel a bit silly as I do a lot of stuff on my own so don't understand my nerves.

Dinner is in the SC, just need to do the mash potato (the food not the dance) when I get in from the paid stuff.
Must cut the grass tonight as well as we are forecast rain.

    Have a great day all
