Thanks for list. Have been following all week but been too busy to post. Came home from holiday and felt so overwhelmed by the house that decided it is time to take charge!
Rearranged things in kitchen, and put in loft bottle sterilizer and warmer so now have lots more space! Also cleaned the light fitting in there which have NEVER done, cleared guff from the top of the fridge and wiped that down too. In the bedroom I hoovered the non-turn mattress for the first time! Took a deep breath and tackled some of the piles of stuff under the loft - took 3 binliners to charity and have another 4 in the hallway ready to go :j! There is still more under there but please as have made a massive mental change. I had stuff that I wanted to sell - but after three years of not selling it I've decided to let it go and donate it instead. Getting my space the way I want it is for me and my family is more important to me! The bags were just making me feel guilty, and I have NOTHING to feel guilty about!!
Back at work yesterday and today with over four hours commuting each day so not been quite on top of it, but hoping to get even the basics done tonight. Plus have to get guest room ready for sister:
* strip bed
* put load on
* tidy laundry away

Heading off to work soon. Towels in washer - I'll try and change DD1's bed today as well - like bossymoo we have the wet stuff forecast for tomorrow...
Hugs to Helen Jelly - hope you and DH have good news soon - please don't feel you have to disappear - we are here for you - flying or not...
Re the sorting the wardrobe thing from earlier in the week - DD2's stuff is in my room until her wardrobe arrives. She was looking for something and found her Yr 11 prom dress from 3 years ago and put it on. When she let go it fell to the floor - it didn't touch a single bit of her body on the way down..... so she's decided there is no point in keeping it!
I did try it on - but my frontage is too large......:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
I'm going to go and get sorted for my first peaceful bath in 7 weeks in a few minutes as I've hit the point with the laundry where the loads that are left need stuff I'm wearing or my towels post bath
Had a good tidy in the livingroom, I still need to re-home all the craft stuff back under the stairs but I can't face dragging all the stuff under there out atm. Might get DD to help me when she gets in.Everything else is more or less where it should be now. Only really laundry out of place, and a parcel for next door. I'm going to stop taking them in for him, he never knocks :mad:
Email / surveys - going to tackle on DD's laptop later. Mines taken a dislike to my email account again. :mad:
Make beds
Bath
WM/TD- 4th load in WM, 3 more to go
Paid stuff - newsletter, prepare forms, prepare books, put books out
S&S bathroom
S&S kitchen
Ironing
I'm hoping this bath with settle my head and let me focus on paid stuff as I'm having trouble thinking clearly atm. I was supposed to put books out on Monday and my order goes in this time next week.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Hi all x
I'm in late as usual. Thanks for the thread Natty and thanks to Valli for last week.
DS2 has been down with a throat and ear infection and being the kind child I brought him up to be he has shared it around the house. So not much in the way of flying been done here at the theme park.
Went for the shopping yesterday and seen a new suite that I like so since my current one is 15 yrs old I've decided I'm getting it so OH is starting the painting tonight! I will go over on Saturday and order it once I've decided if I'm having 2 x 2 seaters and a chair or 1 x 2 seater and 2 chairs.
Just about to gut the LR and box some stuff up. HHC at 1pm anyone?
