    Morning all

    School for Ds2 & 6th form for DS1 today

I may be taking it easy after Mother sitting.

Wm is on as usual. I need to label Ds2's stationery.

Thinking of Dusty's friends and sending good news vibes to everyone x

Ok, so in my defence I am just waking up. Read 'work tops' as tops you wear to work and thought 'granite?'. Never mind.

Thanks for starting my day with a smile, ladies! I needed it - DH was in a foul mood last night over something I said (which was about something that he said), and now this morning I have to face the tiler and tell him that half the new tiles round the bath have got to come off and be re-done the way we had agreed earlier. I don't think he will be a happy bunny.
Not much off listy today, but I have been very busy flying out and about... I have made a start on getting back patio straight again and front garden too....

Skinty, would you like to come and join me in some slash and burn here? I decapitated another laurel bush yesterday - I can even see the back wall behind it now :rotfl:

Two large fans in the lounge are gobbling up large amounts of electricity - not very :money: - but the plaster is drying out well, and hopefully we can turn them off for good this evening.

Hugs and spoons to all who need them, with special thoughts for families facing up to illness and loss.

Hope everyone has a good day, especially anyone with children going back to school ;) - enjoy a bit of a rest today :D

Right, so LR now clean and tidy, dailies done, 15 mins in gym, yesterday's washing put away, and showered. Now going to take the dogs for a walk before the paid stuff.

Ionafan - hope your day improves. Good luck with the tiler.

    Catch you all later.
Spend less now, work less later.

  • Good morning :D

After 6 weeks of working 1 day a week (starting at 9am) I am now really busy! :j I have been starting at 7am this week (and will be from now on ), and working 10 hours everyday (ish) It is a bit of a shock to the system, but my bank account needs it! I was panicking about having no money and not many mindees, and now I am full! I have a 6mo baby coming for a settling in session this morning, and another lady round at 1pm to sign contracts for an 18mo :) All we need is for DH to get a job, and DD2 to get on a course or get a job and we can start getting back on our feet.

This morning I have S&S the kitchen, and cleaned the downstairs toilet & basin. I have also retrieved the baby toys from the summerhouse and given them a clean with dett0l :) DH has peeled some spuds in preparation for tonight's dinner.

Going to print off some paperwork (when the printer decides to wake up!!)

Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them.
