LW.. my sister was also an unwanted baby and is regularly told so.. I was a 'replacement' baby for my sister who died (51 weeks between her birth and mine) and we haven't been allowed to forget it either. It isn't good for your self esteem at all :( We want you and think you are a beautiful Mrs Wolf xx

I've had to give up on the list. Just as my OH got up my toddler was going to bed. I'll have a quiet tidy up of our room but Master T's will have to wait until tomorrow.

Dusty.. you seem to know an awful lot of very unlucky people :( I hope all works out for the friend with BC and how very very sad for the family losing a child.. :( It just shouldn't happen it is not right.

You are right Piggers there is so much sadness around. I do know an awful of of people (I'm not overly sociable but have always been on PTA, Governing, Committees etc) and live in a very friendly area. Sadly there are other I know (but less well) who I have not mentioned on here who have recent diagnosis of the Big C or have passed away recently, all in their 40s so my age bracket :( TBH it is starting to drag me down but I keep thinking 'there but for the grace am I'

So flyladies, you are all special, go live your life and enjoy. Don't sweat the small stuff and remember that a little of what you fancy will do you good (ok FBO this is not true for you with what my DSs refer to as the glug glug:A)

Next is washing up, getting washing in and watering the garden.

DS3 is excited about school tomorrow - today went well :D

Bossy hugs for your friends and their friends DS that is so sad.

I have been on a reccy and found lots of sloes *blobs tongue out at Honey Bear with whom I rather feel I'd quite like to swap lives; what with gin, and firemen, and chocolate and all* on my way back from mum's (apple scrumping foor cooking apples for pectin for bramble jelly) -

Honey - I take my litterpicker and secateurs with me blackberrying - I do a bit of bush management and a lot of nettle management while I'm picking. I have never seen such blackberries in such abundance! Have another panful of fruits on a slow simmer now, will strain through a muslin overnight and cook up another batch of jelly tomorrow. I also need to label up today's jelly.

Can't find my missing purse - it's my 'going out' one and it had the leftover money from my solo excursion - fortunately no cards or anything or I would really be panicking.

*purse finding vibes for Valli* (despite tongue-type stuff)

Hmmm blackberrying with secateurs, eh? They were mentioned today as a matter of fact, as a useful but notably missing item in the backpack. I wonder if he's be suitably grateful I gave him a litter picker for his birthday next year ... chap ... impossible to buy for ... tools to go in his shed at the chalet ... all that guff. *thinks* Probably not.

    Shower, Out.

Girls in bed.. cuppa made.. waiting on the 3 girls getting back from KH's then they can go to bed.. school tomorrow.. Did I mention?? then I am cracking open the ice cream and kicking OH off the Xbox ;)

Bin in the loo emptied.. binbag was not quite full so I remedied that and also flung out all the nappies which were strewn around smelling.. OH has an AWFUL habit of just putting them beside his chair instead of in the bin.. ggrrr.. anyway, they are now gone.

Grabbed a couple of Squeaks bed time friends out of the car.. I need to locate Shaun and Hufty and 'other bunny' (she has Big Bunny, Shaun, Big Bunny's bunny, Shauns bunny, Squeaks bunny and Hufty and sometimes has Gilbert too.. it is a very full bed!).. I have no idea where they have disappeared off too.

    Knitting is calling! :D

I hope she likes it. It's a fuzzy pic, but you get the gist. She wanted peppa pig and princesses.
