Not heard of it before; I'll make a note, in the hope I get chance to read it (currently it's taking me about 6 months to read a book, as I have very little time for reading).
Could be good for you then as it is set out as a page or 2 to read each day and that is it until the next dayI'm home from work early.
I've been productively pottering clearing lots of little ten minute jobs I've been meaning to do for ages.
DS2 home from school as they only had to go in for a bit. That means I need to drive over and get DS3 as I'm not sure he'll be ready to come home on the bus on his own yet (doesn't know how to get to the bus stop or the time of the bus as this was part of DS2 showing him).
So next I'll make a cake, check some statements whilst it's cooking then drive over - DS2 can come with me and walk up to the school to get him.
Had some absolutely awful news about a child dying at DS2's school over the summer. I know the Mum, she used to teach at the local primary and is the loveliest person ever. I met her just in July at parents evening at DS3's new school as her DD is starting. Such a dreadful thing to happen and her own Mother passed away in tragic circumstances a few years ago.
Friend with BC is at the hospital for an MRI today as they could not remove all the lump, too big, so she needs to see if it has spread and then have another bigger op.
Please spare a thought for both families. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thinking of those families. How awful to lose a child
Really hope the cancer hasn't spread either!!

dusty my thoughts are with your friends families. such a heartbreaking and difficult thing to have to go through.
i hope things go well for your friend and the 2nd op is a success and they can remove it all next time. hugs to you as well for being there for them, it must be draining for you at times.
valli, your photos look lovely and very tasty.
throw taken to friends, work done, chatted to a neighbour for a bit, DH fed and returned to work, loros lady paid, diary all filled in with school stuff till next year - i cheated and bought an academic one so it runs from august to july and makes keeping school/govs/work/DS2 stuff in one place much easier.
going out in garden to repaint fil's cemetry stone some of the lettering has come off so its getting a touch up and varnish.SPC~12 ot 124

Of course you can borrow my Challenge.:o Truth to be told, I'll be glad of the company, because daft as it may sound, I'm going to find it quite hard.
The problem is, I dislike myself, and that's not the best position to start from.
I know what you mean about not liking yourself. At the moment I'm slowly getting over the self loathing from June and trying to tell myself I do deserve treats, but it is hard work. Particularly if I am struggling to do the things I feel I 'ought' to be doing.
However, DH noticed perfume and jewellery this morning and commented which made me feel like it was worth the effort :T
I think the phrase is 'you have to fake it to make it':DGoals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

Got an hour...
Clean inside the microwave. A good tip is to heat up a cup of water in the microwave - the steam shifts all the yukky stuff on the microwave
15 fling boogie
Extra challenge:
- Deweb, don't forget those corners
- Clean light fittings/switches
- Wipe down the doors
- Clean that cupboard under the sink!!!
Twinkling Tuesday ~ Bouncing Bedroom

Clean the light switches
Extra challenge:
Clear one drawer in the dressing table/chest of drawers
Clean the window - make it sparkle in the sunshine

School tomorrow.. cat at vet at 10:15 and I need to collect Moomins boot.. we could have gone for it today but we are having a slobby day.
Gammon should be about cooked now but I don't know what to do with it.. I may be truly bone idle and do pasta. girls off to KH's.. none of the others will go so I can't even be bothered to tell them to get ready.
On a plus note... did I mention it is school tomorrow??LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
