Even paying duty it is usually cheaper then UK prices. Order fron chinese sellers and its rare to get any charges.
If you use that seller above. Ask for singapore post which uses a tracking number that Royal Mail can use.
My original parcel used Belgium Post and the tracking didnt work at all.
Lad at the sorting office was great. He checked RM and Parceforce codes etc. But couldnt find it at all.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Joovuu sell the Mobius in the UK and that is where I bought mine. You buy outside the EU and if the package is opened by customs, you have to pay the duty. PLUS Royal Mail stick on an admin fee for collecting the duty.
If the gamble of buying outside the EU pays off you pay less, if it doesn't you end up paying more.
The links are not for the Mobius.

Which seller are you referring to? There are 3 sellers and they all come from China, the one Techmoan recommends is the Ebay one, suggesting they are "not clones of clones".
Is it possible to "Ask for Singapore post"? I can't see anywhere that gives that option.

Belgium post could not be tracked as they use a format the RM sites would not accept.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Hi all
Ive been wanting a dash cam for a while now and finally started doing a bit of reasearch into which to buy.
I had a look around and this one seems quite decent : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1080P-Full-HD-G1W2-7-LCD-Car-DVR-CCTV-Camera-Recorder-Night-Vision-G-sensor-H-2-/261420651898?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3cdde2957a
Even though its a bit tacky and looks a bit cheap the video it puts out look great (review on youtube)
I just wondered if anyone recommended one or had any reason why not to buy this one ?
I did want one with motion detection (i think this means it records even when your not in the car if it detects something ??)
Anyway if anyone has some advice or recommendations id be grateful
Thanks in advance0 -
I have a DVr-047, non-HD camera. Very happy so far.0

I have this model. For the money the video is very good even when it's raining at night under street lights you can read a number plate.
The usb socket isn't great and I had to open it up and pry the contacts into a better position and get another usb cable off eBay before I could not worry about it turning off randomly.
It is quite distracting if you put it in your view, mine is now behind the mirror on the passenger side.
It doesn't cover everything and if you are really concerned about that I suggest 3 cams: front left, front right and rear.0 -
I am thinking about buying the HP F210 and a 32GB class 10 memory card, priced at around £120 and £20 for a card, but I wouldn't trust a cheap one, like most things you get what you pay for.0

Have two "Roadhawk" one back one front.
Not cheap but they record Speed, Time and position by Satellite as well as filming.
I am well pleased with them.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0
