Thank you C-R and wegle - I really appreciate you guys popping in to give me a boost. Xxx

Unfortunately, after working hard to keep myself feeling positive, my ex has reared his ugly head and used his uber manipulative ways to send me off in a tailspin. Sometimes, I do wonder what the hell I was thinking and just what more he wants to take from me. He is a very bitter and twisted man who waltzed off with everything and then some because I was so desperate to get away from him. Well, apparently, I am not allowed to even be rid of him. I am sick of the emails, the BS, holding me to ransom over the mortgage, the never ending psychological torture. I'm just fed up. It amazes me how you can go from sharing your life with someone to truly loathing them with every fibre of your being. I am so utterly sick of him. I have held myself together while he destroyed me financially, maternally, personally and socially. I have moved country to get away from him but he does not stop. I am at the end of my rope. I am absolutely sick of the sight of his name in my inbox. Last time I saw him, he was smart enough to remain in the stairwell, behind a door. I swear, if he comes within striking distance of me, I am not sure if I could stop. End of rope reached. Positive HOK3Y is taking the night off. P!ssed off HOK3Y is currently in residence.

    Go girl :)

Anger can be a good thing. You have every right to feel very very hacked off. But remember he's a complete a&se and he is just trying to bring you down. You won't be and that's that.

Have a good eve and a large glass of wine and say s&d off to miserable manipulative exes...:)

Not much toadd at this hour other than I agreed with brizzled.
S*d him, he is clearly in a bad self if he feels the need to behave like this in order to try and bring you down and make himself feel better. What a nasty piece of work
Hope you have managed to have a restful evening and that tomorrow you feel a bit brighter xx

  • Grrrr - shall I send my german shepherd after him? :)

I'm feeling anti-man this evening but thankfully my man has never been as horrible-sounding as your ex. I'm just glad you managed to leave him and find someone who really cares about you!

How can you get rid of him so you know he never has to come near you again? Or is that more difficult that it sounds?

Have a good evening HOK3Y and I'm sorry he brought you down :(

    xx

Thank you all for being so kind. No I cannot eradicate him unfortunately unless the Universe sees fit to flatten him with a large bus. He is still holding the mortgage over my head and took my children from me with promises of everything you can imagine and more......the fact that he has broken far more promises than kept seems to be irrelevant when my son thinks there is a chance of a new pick up truck this summer for him.....he will be 15 but able to drive when they move to the US. I would love nothing more than to set my email to fire back the same response every time an email comes in from him: 'Go £&@? yourself.' Alas and alack, I cannot. Hubby has been brilliant as always. I am very lucky to have someone who always has my back. I would trust him to stand with me through everything but then he has a backbone and ex has always been spineless - one the things I particularly hated about him! He still uses passive aggressive techniques with me because he's too scared to get into a discussion - he knows he will lose. Karma cannot come around quickly enough for me.

On another note, I woke up this morning feeling crappy. Did manage to get to work but have grabbed some work and left. Going home to PJs, a cup of tea, and the latest bank rec! I love bank recs so don't mind even when not feeling well but I can hardly stop sweating/shaking and I'm not sure anyone will appreciate it in the office. So home I go.

God I hope you are all having a better couple of days than me! It will get better I know so I'll just keep plodding along. Love, luck and positive vibes to everyone today. !!!!!! happens but doesn't usually stick around for long!

I'm sorry you are feeling under the weather. At least you can work and keep active. I think i heal better by concentrating on work rather than sitting in bed feeling sorry for myself. At least you have the lovely Mr to nurse you back to health :)

  • Just catching up on your diary...

Sorry to hear about your ex :( My mum was married to a complete b*stard for most of my childhood and all I can say is karma is waiting for all these unreasonable men (or women) who treat others like absolute crap.

None of my business, but from a child brought up by a b*stard point of view, these promises of material things quickly get old and forgiveness stops coming eventually, so ahve faith that your children will have a huge realisation moment.. Mine took long enought to come :)

On a more positive note I absolutely LOVE your savings goal!!!!

    Take care xx

Aw you are all so lovely - thank you for the empathy and the 'up yours' sentiments! I really appreciate it! :)

Yeah the savings goal is out there but what the heck! If you don't aim high, you might as well not bother! :D Of course, winning the Euromillions tonight would be helpful! :D

So I have had a quiet day. Little annoyed as I completed 3 surveys - none of which made payment into Vivatic. I'm a bit disillusioned with the whole survey thing. I either get screened out or this happens so I think I'm just not going to bother with them. It's not a bad thing to accept that something isn't working for you. :)

Doubt I am going to work tomorrow. Still feeling rough. It won't hurt me to stay home and try to nurse myself back to a healthy equilibrium. Also gives me chance to call HMRC about the tax refund I am owed.....not sure how that's going to work as it was with a former employer but within this tax year. But it's over a hundred quid and I'd prefer it in my pocket......or rather off my debt!

Hubby has an interview lined up on Thursday night for a second job and I am going to spend some time tomorrow looking for something too, at least for the run up to Christmas. I want as many pennies as I can get to throw at the debt. I feel like I am throwing ball after ball of flaming napalm at the mountain but the smoke keeps clearing and the mountain hasn't changed!! Does anyone else feel like that?! I wonder if there is a frustrated smiley out there that does that feeling justice!! :D
