Thanks pap and your signature is awesome......is that all you have to kick? That's wonderful!
Hi Hok3y, it was (mine) but that's without two month interest. However things have taken a nose dive here so it will prob default soon and increase. But that's life... I will be debt free before the end of the year :j
Have a fab weekend :T0 -
I know all about nosedives pap and so you have my sympathy. I hope you can pull up out of it sometime soon and give that debt a very final kick in the teeth. You will do it - I am absolutely certain of that. X
I am sitting at the dining table with a cup of tea and feeling a bit weird as I no longer have a sofa! All of our belongings are either packed up, in piles on the floor, or awaiting packing. Today will be spent tying up some loose ends, cleaning the ensuite (and closing the door - done!), and wet cleaning carpets.......man, I know how to live!
We have someone here this morning valeting the car for shipping and I am headed into town to pick up some stuff we need to send back with us. Thanks brizzle! X The weekend is proving mighty stressful. In fact, I am contemplating a grievous bodily assault on Mr H as I type! I cannot be doing with mood swings right now! Men are such a pain at times!
So, I think I'll go pick up some food for tea and leave him to it.

Thanks brizzle! I have to admit, I'm proud of the badge!
Nails are doing marvellously although that might not be the case after all the cleaning I'm going to be doing today and tomorrow!
So today is pack out day. Movers will be here in an hour. We have sorted every bit of our belongings and thrown away/recycled loads. I have a chunk of stuff to take to my new place today also and then we're off to stay with my sister for a few days. Can't believe it's come round so fast and Mr H is leaving me on Saturday!
Anyway, off to clean up the kitchen a bit.....ttfn!!Credit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0 -

Thanks C-R! We're just sitting on our bed in the front room while all our stuff is packed. This is the first move where we're so organised that we're not running around trying to take care of last minute stuff!
Lots of packed boxes and items wrapped. It's weird to think we are doing this AGAIN. I had hoped when we moved to England that we would remain here for life. Oh well, life is weird!

Well, it has been a mental few days. The apartment has been cleaned, painted, and happily handed back to the landlord. The majority of my stuff has been dropped off at my new place (Mr H took one look at the house and declared that he doesn't think I have any intention of following him to MS!!!) and we have one more night together before he jets off for the US in the morning. Oh how I wish I had the day off work!
Came back to the office yesterday morning and it is just plain bonkers busy. I am supposed to start at 9am but 6.30am starts are now the norm. As of next week, I will be working past my 5pm finish too but I am not worried about it at all - I really do love my job so I don't mind how much I have on my plate at the moment to be honest. Besides, work will be a welcome distraction from my separation from Mr H.
I hope everyone is continuing to do well and fight the debt demons. I am sitting here hoping we don't get hit with a massive customs fee for our households goods/car! Better bump up those savings now..... Looking forward to payday and putting some pennies away for a change!Credit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0
