Thanks C-R. x Well, I haven't talked to work. I am a total chicken. I know I need to but honestly think the HR partner will have a stroke. I am thinking about talking with him on Friday which would give him the weekend to think it over. It's not a nice feeling.

On the plus side, hopefully the money from my ring will hit my account today!! That would be the most awesome news EVER! Plus I am hoping to view a room to rent today......cross your fingers for me that it is still available as it looks amazing.

Spent last night clearing out the spare room and giving it a lick of paint. I don't know what it is about us, but we always insist on leaving a property in pristine condition - even if it wasn't that way when we moved in......oh wait......that's the ex-military thing! So the whole place will have freshly painted walls when we leave. I am not doing the woodwork!

Few more things to Ebay FAST this week - we have a pristine single mattress and a chest of drawers that just need to go. Not to mention a few light fittings and lamps.....and a dyson vacuum cleaner.......and microwave......kettle......toaster.......dear God! Yeah, I still have a few things to do!

With any luck this will turn out to be my day but seeing as I have been at work for an hour already and our main accounts software isn't working (and yesterday it was the banking that crapped out until lunchtime), I'm thinking it's going to be a bit mental.......

Fingers and toes crossed for a serious money windfall into my account and securing a place to live!

Oh you guys are sooooo good to check in on me! I cannot stop smiling!!! I am just so happy and glad to have gotten rid of that weight round my neck!!! I am definitely going out to celebrate tonight!

Meanwhile, I now also have somewhere to live - a gorgeous barn conversion that is literally next to the river. The old barn door is now a 2 storey window that looks out over the water. I think it's going to be a super place to rest my head for a couple of months. Couldn't be happier!
