I look like a girl, I have the genetics of a girl, I tend not to act like a "girl".

If you look like a girl, there's plenty of men who appreciate you not acting like a high-maintenance princess. Loads.

What competition? I'm frikken awesome and if a bloke can't keep up/is scared/doesn't get it thats his problem. ;)

    Some like being scared... ;)

Of course that's why I'm single and (according to my 21 year old male staff member) old.

You're old because you can hold a conversation without cue-cards, and are not so embedded in your phone that without it, it would be like you'd lost a life-critical piece of your anatomy.

    Such as your phone...

True I just don't find enough of those....

I always use cue cards, especially after a bottle of wine or three, admittedly I can't usually read them by then but I try. No my phone isn't critical, it's far more important than that. ;)

The men on your phone aren't ideal.

They're usually a bit small for one...

Rumour has it military types aren't easily scared. Certainly wasn't my experience of them though.

Usually it's to get in touch with the girls so they can laugh at my latest dating failure.

If you're not telling someone else to shout at them, then they don't believe you're in charge. It goes downhill from there...

What constitutes a laughable dating failure? I'm sure some dates must just be "OK", if just not successful.

Or do many of yours end by climbing out of a bathroom window? ;)

I don't do climbing, I'm far more likely to pop out for a cig and jump in to a taxi. Oddly when using that excuse noone has ever realised that I'm a non smoker. :/

Something I'll have to watch for in future then... ;)

It's difficult to tell if the person in question doesn't smoke much. Not all smokers look nicotine ridden.

What normally causes you to pull the ejection handle then? Extreme boredom, or an awe-inspiring faux pas?

Given I try not to date people who admit to being smokers the assumption tends to be that I am also a non-smoker.

Boredom, realising my date is not as attractive as I thought (often an issue caused by being sober on dates), even fairly minor faux pas will have me deciding not to bother again. Although give me enough drink and I can and will be that girl who is a nightmare date due to alcohol consumption when I've already decided my date isn't worth a repeat visit. :)

Attraction should be more than skin-deep. Should be deeper than a pint glass too... ;)

But since I only date girls I already know to a certain extent, I tend to avoid stuff like that. It does mean I tend to "lose" friends though, which is not ideal...

Same most of the time my dates are friends of friends although most of my friends know that letting me date their other friends is risky for all concerned.
