Sorry can't do anything about the blonde, blind on the other hand I can work on - alcohol, reading books with very small type and use of computer screens all sure to help on that front.

Well be careful, or you'll end up having to learn braille. Though I suppose going up to strange men and asking if you can feel their bumps will have some compensations for you...

Oh changing the outside is easy but making me more blonde on the inside, not so easy - the inner lack of tolerance for stupidity tends to come back to the surface too quickly when I try to act "blonde"

That's because you're "acting". You need to do the method acting thing and *be* blonde. Superficiality - it's not just a word, it's a way of life...

It's not that easy - most of the blondes I know aren't "blonde"...

I'm fairly sure it would be impossible for me - I've tried and failed too often in the past to think to worth the effort anymore.

Random conversation tonight with one of my friends - why is it that men use photos on dating sites of themselves in groups (usually multiple groups and none of them alone so you actually know what they look like) or of themselves with women/a woman? Neither my friend or I could fathom a good reason for it, in the group shots you just don't know which one it is you're meant to be looking at and seeing a bloke on a dating site with a picture of him and another female doesn't exactly scream I'm single and looking to date....at least not in our minds.

Looks like the actor's life is not the life for you...

Depending on the man, that may be intentional. Guess which one I am...

Yes, I'm the one not on that photo...

It's probably to say "Hey! Look! I have friends! Some of them wear skirts, so I can't be that strange!"

The alternative would be some sort of mugshot:

Oddly enough the two of us ended up with the same logic as the last photo - if you can't be seen alone you're clearly hiding something.

On the other hand some men really shouldn't be allowed to set up their own dating profiles - she sent me screen shots of two profiles which were particularly unpleasing to the eye - one a guy who must have been about 7 stone wet through, topless lounging "alluringly"against a wall, and at the other end of the scale (literally) someone who must have been morbidly obese with a thankfully clothed picture in a similar pose with the user name 'seximan' both had made contact with her and appeared to be genuine accounts.
