Is this saving up for a new car, or saving up to run the current one?scubaangel wrote: »Logically once again they think I should be driving to Yorkshire before 9am one morning for the first day out and then home again before driving to the Midlands and back on the second day.
Whereabouts in Yorkshire? Are you getting milage for that?scubaangel wrote: »I think am going to be going down the booking cheap hotels route again instead.
Seems like a plan. Just don't go out on the lash too much...

It's generally covering the costs of the one I have, started saving the £45 every month I was paying in insurance for my old car as when I was given this one my family also paid for 12 months insurance on it. 5 years later I still save £50 a month when I'm working so I can pay my insurance, tax and service costs outright. The insurance claim this year means the account has been practially empty ever since so I want to build it back up.
Same place as last time, I can claim the mileage on expenses so will claim Yorkshire - midlands - home. Rather than yorkshire - home, midlands - home.
If I'm on my own in a hotel am relatively unlikely to be out on the lash.
The cold is nearly cleared up, still slightly snotty but I can breathe most of the time without doing the gormless mouth hanging open breathing look I was doing earlier in the week.
Just started to think about my plan to go on holiday for my birthday next year, looks like it'll be the week the schools go back after Easter so flights shouldn't be too expensive - just need to start finding out if any of my friends want to come so I can work out if I need to find an apartment/villa for the bedspaces - my Mum's place will sleep 6 as long as people don't mind sharing rooms, but I already know one couple want to come so with myself we're down to three spare beds (all singles) already. But frankly I'd rather not share my room, so thats two beds. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

See...you could go out on the lash and be a Mouthbreather searching for your very own Shovelface... :happyhear

Check. Not all LEAs have the same schedule.scubaangel wrote: »- just need to start finding out if any of my friends want to come so I can work out if I need to find an apartment/villa for the bedspaces - my Mum's place will sleep 6 as long as people don't mind sharing rooms, but I already know one couple want to come so with myself we're down to three spare beds (all singles) already. Depends on who you're sharing it with. I'm sure you wouldn't mind Shovelface..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

The LEA for my area at least and looking at flights it seems to be the common one since the week before I want to go prices are £200 return and the week I want to go it drops to £100 return. But I'll do my usual and start looking to book individual flights when they start dropping again.
No I'm just bad at sharing my room, the size and layout means it's impossible to get up or come in over night without disturbing the other person. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

*Sigh* just went for a shower only to discover that amazon sent me two shampoos instead of a shampoo and conditioner, so am going to have to visit the supermarket before work tomorrow to get a cheap one.
On the upside just managed to redeem a £10 amazon voucher from a survey site. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Nope I've used up all the travel sizes/sample pots I had, the only one I should have somewhere around is the Lush conditioner bar but it's somewhere in a box in my room - not in the bathroom where I needed it.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

You probably should have another go at sorting/emptying/cataloguing your boxes. There could be the Lost City of Atlantis in there and you'd never know..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

No it's in the box with all the shower gels which is easy to find just less easy to access when it's in another room.
I also don't much like it which is why I only use it when I'm away from home as it's easier to cart around than liquids. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
