Hi All
Bought my vax and put it all together but struggling to work out howto use it. Plug it in let it heat up then what do i do?
have you put some water in the plastic bottle? Switch it on, you will see an orange light, within a minute it turns to green, and then you're ready to go!0 -

These are brilliant for tiled floors and the Vax blue 'hairy' cleaner head cloths are the best thing I've found for cleaning the into grout dips between the tiles. Ordered one of these to keep for when our current one gives up the ghost.0

Thank you! Got three for me and siblings, used the £5 voucher on the third one.
Can you use it on unsealed tiles please?0 -
Thank you for posting, am about to go and collect mine and wanted to know if you can use a special type of detergent with this, or is water enough? Many thanks0

Hi
Picked mine up yesterday and pleased to say it was the Vax.
Got it assembled and will try it out later today....can't wait.

Lola:hello: Never say Never :smileyhea0 -
Kingswood (Hull) store had a pile of them out on display with a sign saying 'Steamworks' £25'.
By the way, for those wondering, the instructions say not to add any detergent to this model.0 -
Just opened mine and there was a little water in the tank and some condensation.........has anyone else had that?I'm guessing mine has been used and returned already, not sure whether to try it and then return if there is a problem or just return and swap for an unused one
Picked Mine up last night, mine also has a little water in. Spoke to the hubby, who is an engineer, he said it is normal and from when the factory do the testing. I needed reassurance it wasn't a used one, so he checked the hard filter, (located when you remove water tank) and showed me it was completely clean and dry. This needs replacing when turns completley purple. He also pointed out the box still had one run of tape on, to seal the box.
So Now completely happy and will try out later0 -
