Hi, I accidentally reserved 2 in the Chippenham store rather than one last night, have just picked up one and cancelled the other one so there is one left there at the moment.
Great bargain, thank you OP, I have been thinking about getting one of these for ages at £25 am happy to give it a go.0 -

The instructions may well mention this.I would take it back and change it for another if it isn't too much hassle, I have no problem with second hand items but if I am buying it brand new then I expect it to be brand new!0

Thanks op, picked mine up and my laminate and tiled floors look lovely after just 1 go, much better than the mop and bucket ever did.
Does anyone know if you could add lemon juice to the water just for a nice smell?StayHome * StaySafe * BeKind0 -

Although it has a thin coat of weak varnish on top (was labelled 'varnish' but disappointingly doesn't appear to give much protection) I wouldn't feel confident using anything too wet on it as I'd worry about it seeping into the wood, especially at the edges, and making it swell/warp. I've never used one of these steam mops before. Am I right in thinking it wouldn't be suitable for this type of flooring?
Have still reserved one anyway, for other floors at home, so thanks OP and everyone else who posted
