Just popping in for a quick update after a busy couple of days.
I’ve only managed one more NSD so far this week! Was a bit naughty yesterday. I had a training course and a few of the guys from my old office were on it so we decided to go for lunch after the course for a catch up. Ended up spending £4.29 which was bad but it was really nice to catch up with them all.
I’ve managed to make myself another £5 in the form of a Love2Shop voucher. I received this for sending off my empty roll up packets to a market research company. So this really was money for old trash!! My eBay item ended as well and sold for £72.12!!! Woo hoo!! Once postage and fees are dealt with I should clear £61.05. Bad news is eBay are definitely taking 10% of the postage costs as well now!! Criminal!! So in eBay and Paypal fees I will have paid £11.07 on this sale or just over 15%. Oh well it’s money I didn’t have before so I can’t complain.
I’ve got the grand total of £251.08 in my bank account and am aiming to keep £200 of that back for a big CC payment at the end of the month. That combined with my £61.05 will bring me to 21.58% paid so I will hit my 20% target but not quite the 25% I was pushing for. You never know I might get a few survey payouts as well.
Unfortunately today is not going to be a NSD either!! I’m meeting up with my best mate for a coffee after work. I haven’t seen her in ages and we’re long overdue a catch up. Setting a budget of £5 though, so even though it is going to be a spend day it will be a controlled one.0 -
Hi Wegle! Wondered how you had been. Sounds like you are going great guns with everything.
Ebay are cheeky these days, although like you say its money you didn't have by still annoying.Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -
Thanks Mrs GSR. Things are really just sort of ticking along on the debt front. Between paydays there just seems to be a lot of sitting around waiting!0

Hiya wegle! You are going to smash 20%! And it's true, you never know what else might come your way between now and the end if the month. Thanks hun! Happy friday to you to!!
Plans for today are make it through the work day and then off to do the shopping later. I've got my list and I'm sticking to it!!! Not up to much over the weekend but am going to force myself to dig out some more eBay stuff! I've got a spare room full of junk and it needs to go!!!!0 -
Ooooo! Just checked my O2 priority moments app and there is one for a free movie and bag of popcorn from Blockbuster!! So after I've done the shopping I'm going to go and get me and Hubster our evening's entertainment!! Bonus!0

Good morning and happy monday everyone!!
Absolutely nothing to report from the weekend as hubby and I have been poorly with colds!! Hubby is still in bed today but I've dragged myself into work to try and keep going.
Not going to do a big update today as honestly, nothing has happened on the debt front! I'm up to 9 NSDs though so that's something.0 -
Bonjour Diary!
Been a couple of spend days unfortunately. Had to pay out £25 to get a new set of number plates made up but I did manage to keep my college spend to only £3.05!! So that was pretty good.
Going for a NSD today and tomorrow hopefully. My budget and the household one is really tight now until the end of the month, but there is only one week to go until payday.
I've got a meeting next week with a wedding dress shop to discuss me doing some modelling for them so I'm hoping that there will be some financial gain to be made there. If not it will still be good fun so I'm looking forward to that.
Hubby is back on night shifts for the rest of the week so I'll have a nice quiet evening tonight and probably just curl up with a good book and some music.
I've got £193 left in my bank account and £61 in paypal. I'm aiming for £211 to go to the CC which leaves me with £43 spending money for the rest of the week. Should be ok but we only have £22.67 left in our joint account. This needs to get groceries and petrol until payday so I may have to dip into some of my own money to cover these. Still £65.67 should be enough to get us food, petrol, ciggies and pay for dog agility. No college next week to worry about as its half term.
I'm starting to try and plan my Christmas spends! Sorry! I know it's still only October, but I don't want the last minute panic we normally have. We don't have many people to buy for as my family all live away and we've always had a rule that we only buy for each other if we are spending time together. So the list and plans for their presents/amount spend on is below:
Husband - £100 (I'd like to get him a nice watch and have seen you can get 3x clubcard vouchers value at Goldsmiths so if I can find one he likes I'll use the vouchers we've got saved up towards this)
Me - £100 (I already know what I want! A kitchen mixer and a new mixing bowl - Rock n Roll right!!)
In Laws - Going to give them a nice frame with a wedding photo in it - budget for frame £20
Hubby's Grandad - As above
Brother in Law - £25 - will probably give him an itunes voucher or just the money towards something he wants like driving lessons
Step Kids - £75 each - I've got £50 in Amazon vouchers which I will use for Step child 1 as he lives far away so it's easier to order online and have presents delivered to his house. SC2 is a bit awkward as we've only just re-initiated contact after a long problem between hubby and SC2's mum. Things are going well but we still don't know SC2 very well. So it will probably just be money in a card for her to spend on what she wishes. Unless her mum gives us any tips.
So in total £415 but I will be able to use £50 Amazon vouchers and at least £20 Tesco Vouchers so actual money value £345. I'm pretty chuffed with this, especially as we will actually have this money saved this year, instead of having to just take it out of that month's salary. Woo hoo!
Right I need to go and plan this weekend's halloween baking!!0
