I woke up mega early today (5.40am ) for a breakfast meeting - free brekkie and coffee :money:
Brought lunch today though, only a coffee and a sausage roll so low spend but yummy!
Got tomorrow off work - yippee!0 -
:j Also, I've made £45 from eBay sales so far this month0

Apologies for the long delay- I have not seen my bed before 12am most nights. Stressed out hence no major increase in AF days.
Have stayed true and have remained focused and brought lunch into work everyday except 1, eating left overs or noodles! I have spent very little since last check in as aiming to reach NSD target!
I've missed alot and have a lot to catch up on!
Have a great money saving day!0 -
Haven't posted in ages!! been a terrible month with some unexpected bills and needing to buy DD a coat and some new jeans. She's just started school so her uniform cost me a bomb too. Next month WILL be better as we've no plans for outings, no need for clothes and I don't drink much so no spending on that. I will however be buying a few extra bits in the groceries for Christmas dinner and treats over the Xmas period as they get super expensive come December so will add bits here and there when I go. Planning to put at least £100 away into savings this month. We are desperate to get the ball rolling! xx
SFDs: 5/15
AFDs: 20/30
Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!

Well yesterday spent a grand total of 10.64 veg aldi and reduced meat in co-op. Trying for a SFD today but feeling flat having to add an extra 900 pounds to my debt joys of being a homeowner, some maintenance that needs to be done.

hi all, so today will not be a SFD as i'm off out with some work friends for a wee leaving doo, nothing too extravagant as i'm making them all do a bargain lunch with me at a local pub (£7 for meal and drink!) and then i'm staying out till I run out of spends (all from social budget). Bus ticket bought for return trip home too which should be fun. Needless to say alcohol will be involved (Sorry!)
Have a fun day everyone
PS V excited as get my keys to new flat tomorrow! Not v excited about the morning 2 hr drive to get them post afternoon beer session0 -
Hoping for a SFD today, but we'll see how it goes. Off to London to see the BF, and so I can end up with daft expenses along the way. But have my bus pass, my parking pass and my oystercard probably is healthy enough to get me to him so I have a chance!
Also I'm pretty sure I'm coming down with a cold, so I don't know if we'll get up to much this weekend. We're going to go do London Open House for free fun, but don't know if I'll fancy it.Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -
Hi everybody! Chugging away at work here until 1900 - what joy! Salady spend yesterday as I was getting sick of just rice and falafel... spendage will be updated soon...
Will be spending my Friday night in a very deep bath...lol!
More books ordered from the Library - they wanted payment for all of them yesterday...£1.60.. ... nearly took out a Dvd then realised they wanted £1.50 for it so I put it back.. Lidls came to £7.81.. and then I trudged to the gym for 20 minutes interval training on a bike, and came home again so there is a full blown 40 minutes but I was way to tired to do much else...
Take it slow, Take it slow...
Right ...more work calleth...
P.S..anyone desperate for payday now to pay off more DEBT..??“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. hello people!
Well - i bought some yellow stickered avocados to go into making a salad to go with chicken fajitas tonight - NSK can I count this as a SFD? Pleeeeease?
I want to pay off this bleeding DCA but I have to wait for them to accept my F&F - so frustrating!!!!
Payday could not come soon enough! :rotfl:
everyone have a good evening xxDebts @ LBM (May 2013): £25,250.27 | Debt Free: May 2015 :j:j0 -
........Unfortunately, day to day I'm surrounded by people with much higher wages and no debt, so it can be hard to focus on my situation and I easily lose perspective
How do you know they have no debt? Some people say " well everyone has debt so it doesn't really matter" so they keep spending and don't seem vexed about it.
I was thinking yesterday why am I struggling to pay off debt when other people really don't care... and see to be getting along just fine....
But these are the people who may NEVER have a lightbulb moment until it's too late.. then what..
You will pay off your debt but cheap clothes from NEXT are not the way forward.. when you are debt free you treat yourself to a £130 handbag... because it's cash from your pocket and not interest from the banks...
It can be depressing, and tedious and annoying.. but you have my permission to gloat and lord it over a few selected people when you are debt free in the nicest way possible...;-):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
