    Hurry Up Baby Dragon!!

I have plans to create a NSK onesie with the words "Proud To Be Staying In" emblazned on the back. I wish I was joking but I am not. I love staying in... I don't care if people think I am sad! So yes whoever said they turned down a night out and don't care then I salute you my friend..:rotfl:

I am at work until 0000, I get up at 0500 for work tomorrow.... shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh don't tell Mummy NSK she will go mad...... someone else said they haven't had time to breath because work has been crazy. I know how you feel.. I could sleep for a week but I fight on. I am a trooper and to see my debt numbers dwindle is enough for me to push on...:T:T:T

Siouxsie I have a smothie with me now at work. Your's sound lush!!

So the Town Show marquee we had got battered and blown in the wind today and I got my ballet pumped feet soaked! I won a prize for the most stupid outfit....I was FREEZING!!! I spent £6 on entrance fees, a naughty £3 on chips yesterday, £2 on the train fare as I hadn't updated my monthly card ( although I have now for £199), vegetables and nuts in Lidls for around £13, Tescos EDV run for about £27 and a partrdige in a pear tree.

On the plus side.. a girl was promoting her bicycles which have little tubs things attached for children.. I borrowed one and took my friends 18 month son for a spin around the fairground.. he loved it!!! ... although not as much as me.. something fun about cycling with other people in a bucket attacked to the front of your bike...:rotfl:..

Aiming for 5 SFD's in a row.

Right that's me for the night... I shall see you all tomorrow...Hope you are all enjoying your cosy nights in.. Mr Cobes have fun on your trip!!

Grocery day today spent £23 whoop whoop! Had the second half of last night's dinner for tonight's dinner.

I made a sandwich for each of us for lunch.

Done some housework. Seen my GD and DD. work tomorrow and will take lunch with me! Hoping for a no spend day tomorrow. Also need to donate to the food bank!

  • Evening everyone.

Another spend day for me today. Food shop and some craft bits. Been busy cross stitching a birthday card for my nephew's birthday on Friday - will finish it off tomorrow night then get it in the post. Hoping for a SFD day tomorrow which I should achieve. I've made my packed lunch for work tomorrow.

    Updated totals are as follows:

    Food - £30.44/£100
    Misc - £23.25/£100
    Petrol - £0/£70

Have a good start to the week everyone.

Went for a bike ride today, it was great. We covered 44 miles with a stop for coffee and cake in the middle. The caf! we stopped at had about 30 cyclists outside, I wonder if they get any non-cycling customers. We didn't cycle too quickly but at a really nice pace. Made a change. OH usually takes off at such a pace I can hardly keep up!

Not quite a SFD because of the coffee but not far off.

We had a lovely dinner. Diced chicken oven-roasted with sweet potato, peppers, onion, mushrooms, and of course courgette. Livened it up with rosemary from the garden. It was delicious!

    Stats look like this:

    SFD - 3/18
    Groceries - £108.95/£250
    Alcohol-Free - 8/26 (2 parties and a holiday)
    Exercise - 6/12
Packed Lunch 6/16 (On hols part of month)
    Food Bank - 3/3

Back to work in the morning but off on Friday for a family party and then off until next Friday. Woo hoo!

Not a SFD...I May or may not have booked tickets to see 'Wicked' in December for my OH's Birthday. He admitted that he had never been to a musical before- my all singing all dancing other half- the shock! I realise by the time I am DF (Nov. pay day), I won't be able to afford the super duper expensive tickets that are left..if there are any left. Naughty Loveadove... Ah well...something for us both to look forward to seeing as we haven't had a holiday this year. :) (I will find a way to make the money back again this month)

    4/18 Sfds so far
    £40.18/ £80 Fuel
    £0/£3 Food Bank
    2/12 Exercise

  • Hi All

I am trying to read through all the posts as I can't access this site at work and I have had little free time but still only half way. Its getting late so thought I'd better post.

I am counting today as a nsd 4/18 as I had my partylite party but put the money aside yesterday and didn't spend any more (I am getting tealights for a xmas pressie). I had a few glassess of wine but this is it - no more till October.

I am off tomorrow so I hae a few items to put on ebay and I want to go for a run and go through my wardrobe. I also need to learn my lines and do some ironing so I shouldn't be tempted to spend - I have no time!

    Hi everyone,

Checking in for the first time. I had my lovely baby although it was the complete opposite of what I had wanted and expected. Knocked me sideways. Came out of hospital on Wednesday have had good and bad days but think I am ready for a slow start on normality. Plus side is as I haven't left the house I haven't been spending.
I had no desire after the 9 months to have a glass of bubbly surprisingly, maybe the meds or just being grateful for little one. It will stay that way.
I need to check what food is in freezer and meal plan some simple meals and sort a budget. I'm thinking £200.
My exercise will be physio exercises given at the hospital anything else is off limits - I've already been told off for doing too much. My swollen feet give me away.
Have read through the thread and everyone is doing so well with eventful weeks for many.

    .

    Congratulations!!!

So happy for you! I am sorry it was a traumatic birth for you but I hope you are feeling better. Is this baby number 1? We are dying to know whether it's a boy or girl and what name you have given him/her...

    Biggest Hugs for you!!!
