  • Right, soooo this is my official check-in for today.

Alas, today has been a spend day. I have *had* to put fuel in the car as I'm driving to and from my friend's Wedding tomorrow- at a total of £20.18 top up (18p WHY WAS I DAY DREAMING??! This is NOT a neat and tidy round £20!) That'll teach me...

I've been cutting down my speed to 60mph on dual carriageways to save on fuel- it really does work, although I do find myself day dreaming most of the time now as the only muse I have is the back of an HGV. Aha! I shall blame the HGV for my 18 pence extravagance! I only fill my tank to about half-way as well to save on added weight and wasted fuel. This site really has changed many aspects of my life! (And also made me a little OCD over my fuel top-ups...ok ok I will let it go, and stop blaming everyone else).

I have also picked up a couple of energy drinks for my drive back as it's going to be a looooooonnnnnng day! at £2 total.

So hopefully tomorrow will be Spend free as I won't be drinking alcohol and my OH has said they'll keep my soft drinks topped up :)

Best get my dancing shoes at the ready!

    :T:T:T HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!! :T:T:T

Gosh, lots of exciting updates! Thanks Loveadove, that's a great idea! My friend is one of these outgoing types with lots of friends so getting 50 messages probably wouldn't be that difficult - better get my thinking cap on :D

Good luck Fyggy. I also have looked at the online videos. I'd LOVE to be able to do TM. Can't isn't a word that is in my vocabulary, but it looks waaaaaay beyond what my body could cope with. I'm so excited for you though and can't wait to hear how it goes.

Abundant, my friend's friend has just opened an online shop selling all sorts of goodies - she's just sent me a parcel of Bee Pollen, Organic vanilla powder, Barley Grass powder and Goji berries. I have some coconut water and raspberries at home so I'm going to experiment with a smoothie of some sort tomorrow :)

So, another SFD for me today (I think that makes it 3) so my figures still stand. I also started only half filling my petrol tank as well, although I notice that the prices jump by a penny before I'm ready for my second filling

The scores on the doors so far then are...
    Food: £55.08/£0
    Petrol: £16/£50
    SFD: 3/18
    Misc: £0/£100 :D

    Hi everyone!!!

Siouxsie - send us the online address of your friends shop so I can have a browse!!! Sounds great!

Today not a SFD either. I decided to buy myself something nice for dinner as I finally handed all my work in and am FREEEEEEEEE!!!

That said - even amidst the shopping isles of SB I didn't buy alcohol (but a lemon meringue cheesecake may have dropped in my basket along with some pop-chips!!!). Took the opportunity to refill my freezer (as was empty) and get my fruit & veg in.

Feels so good to have my life back again.

    Have a nice evening everyone!!!

Checking in - I had my first 'social' spend today and spent £10 less than I'd budgeted for so that's going towards my leaving drinks (not very mse but if I don't spend all that the spare will go towards the bed fund) I also did top up shop so I can get some more sfds in next week.

Tomorrow I've got a sfd planned with cinema (I pay monthly so don't spend when I go) then an NT property (perk of the job) as they've got a sculpture trail thing on. Have a good weekend everyone!

PS fyggy good luck on the TM!
  • Evening everyone

Fyggy, I wish you all the luck in the world. DH is completing the north west tough mudder in 4 weeks so I know how much hard work you've put in. DH has lost 3.5 stone since he started training and looks so toned now, I'm definitely getting the benefits :rotfl:

I've had a spend day today but only £2 so not too bad. Tomorrow is DS's 4th birthday party so will have to buy lunch for me and DH and the venue. We've also got a bbq to go to in the evening so that will save us cooking :D

    Hi all

Well done folks, you are doing brilliantly!

Some spends today.. And yesterday ..groceries and OH bought a small keg of beer for our charity raising bash tomorrow. But..used the rest of my free M&S voucher to pay for some more desperately needed school uniform for DD1.. So still trying to be frugal.

Bids on 4 items ( out of 15) on ebay so £38 bagged so far. Lots of lookers and watchers so hoping for a steady stream later.

Sorry kids I had to get my phone fixed as I dropped it again and it shattered and cracked even more, bits fell off and it looked like Arnie at the end of Terminator 2. MASHED!

It cost me £35 and he gave me a free case.

    2/12 on the exercise front, did a 30min / 4km run.
