DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/25
  • Tesco has a big thing in front of the main doors for tins etc..
As has been said food banks do not like fresh food for distribution and keeping fresh problems...
However..I have found out that a local Church has a Alzheimers support group that distributes fresh food to there community....
Now I am quite pleased to be able to direct the overflow of produce from the allotment, mine and t'others to this group as one day I might need some help :p
Hopefully, if people are struggling to find a foodbank near to them but wish to help out in someway..ask about the local community groups..
    JUST A SUGGESTION :j

Every little helps....<<< quite catchy I might market that !! ;)

  • Took lunch to work. Needed a quick tea as problem with car so quick dash to Aldi and spent £1.49 on a couple of veg tarts!

So annoyed was meant to be a sfd!

Did some crunches and 25 seconds of the plank this morning when I got up. Walked to and from work (about 4 miles in total). Walked about an extra mile or so after tea on my 'paper round' - delivering the free local paper and leaflets.

Took a packed lunch to work and not planning on any alcohol tonight.

    My totals so far:

    Food - £6.75/£100
    Petrol - 0/£70
    Misc - 0/£120
    SFD - 1/18

I noticed a box in work the other day for the local food bank so will try to drop my £3 worth of food in there.

I'm trying to motivate myself to get back in to running. Any ideas? Failing that I will have to go to the gym.
  • Spend free day 1 - yay!
Back to school tomorrow after the summer holidays. Have 1 day to get my new classroom up and running ready for my children on Wednesday. Been in a few days over the summer holidays but still heaps to do tomorrow. Just off to make sure Ihave lunch and snacks in my bag ready to go - don't want to get caught out by any unexpected spends!

  • Check in time. A NSD/SFD for me today making 2/2 so far. Yeyyy. I resisted the vending machines.

Managed to get a full 30 mins cardio in the gym yesterday and a 90 mins weight session in today. Another 60 mins weights and a 45 mins swim planned for today - plus some sauna time :).

Thursday is going to be a first spend day - we moved the meal out forward- found a 25% off voucher though so should come in about 10-15 quid.

Now i just need to raid the cupboards for lunch tomorrow!!

    Hi all,

I really hope it's not too late for me to join this month. I've been MIA for 2 weeks as no computer! But I have been reading evetyday on t'iphone, and have followed augusts rules. I was a little over budget but plan to pull it back this month.

If its ok, my over spends for August came out of september's budget. So as not to get confused I have counted the spends, despite having 2 spend free days for sept (if that makes sense?!) so here it is:

    Holiday (1 week) £150/0
    Food £30/9.70
    Presents £45/5
    Travel insurance £8/0
    Next directory £12/0
    Misc £5/0

So there it is, £250 for the month 2/18 SFDs down!
October Awakening: Food £20/20 Petrol £50/50 Misc £190/194.01 Extra Earnings £100/196.56 SFDs 20/22
