How many times would you wear a pair of trousers....

I would think skinny jeans or any jeans/trousers which are tight around the crotch area should be washed after each wear. If they're baggier then there's probably less need to wash them as frequently.
I wash my tops daily, whether they're dirty or not. I hate body odour and I'm a bit paranoid about smelling! I used to work with someone who had a B.O. problem, and it turned out it wasn't him not washing himself, he just never (or rarely) washed his t-shirts.
The only garments that get washed infrequently are my winter jumpers which are made of real wool. These rarely get washed, as they're not worn next to the skin and they rarely get dirty or smelly enough. Also, real wool is a bit of a pain to wash! The report button is for abusive posts, not because you don't like someone, or their opinions0 -

A similar thing happened with a thread over on the health and beauty board! I guess someone must have found it when searching for something? The report button is for abusive posts, not because you don't like someone, or their opinions0 -

No, I'm not American ! Maybe it's a northern thing . I meant trousers not my underwear .0 -

I don't know, 5 or 6 maybe? Not many. I wash my skirts/dresses every couple of weeks but my jeans only get washed if they are actually dirty0 -

I think it's a Northern thing! I call them pants too, as do most people where I live.

Thread necromancy!
Since I don't like to be seen wearing the same thing two days in a row I hang them over a dressing screen in my room, I then wear that dress another day a week later, plus it gets a good airing. I wash daily and use deodorant so I'm pretty confident they don't smell! For me its the ironing of things not the washing that makes me wear them twice.
As for jeans, I probably only wear them at weekends (straight into PJ's after work for me!!) so they can hang about for a good couple of weeks unless they get doggy drool or food on um!
I do often change my undies twice a day though, as since I go the gym after work I like a fresh pair of pants after my second shower of the day, putting back on old undies seems unpleasant.0 -
In my youth I was quite the dirty stop out, so maybe thats why I don't wear the same clothes two days running. Its purely psychological as my work trousers are all exactly the same make and style so you wouldn't be able to tell anyway.

I wash my work clothes on a Thursday night and my weekend clothes on a Monday night. So anything lying around gets included in the wash for the day.
In between if I can get another wear out of something Ii do.0 -

Daily change here except my bra, which I change every other day.
I can't understand this. My bra gets sweaty and smelly even though I wear deodorant. I couldn't wear it for another day. But I will quite happily wear non-tight fitting trousers several times before washing.0
