The maximum is two days for a pair of trousers unless the weather is warm, in which case I wear them once before washing.

I have genuinely owned a pair of jeans for a year now and washed them once. I hate having to wear them in after a wash. They aren't dirty or stinky, so I don't see the problem!

How many times have you wore them over the year?

I'd wear a pair of jeans / pants a couple of times . If it's been hot I'd probably be wearing linen pants and not jeans anyway . I usually change into a different top and pants for wearing in the house so if my top and pants aren't marked and it's not been very hot , I'd wear them again . The washer I have now has a freshen up cycle , 20 mins . I do wash our clothes a lot but I like the smell and feel of fresh clothes . I do think clothes absorb smells sometimes and we might not notice it but others can . Have been clearing out MIL's house. It smells so stale and when we get home our clothes and hair smell horrible . I'm a bit obsessed with smelling and being clean !

Tops - once (unless just put on to nip in car to go get something, then worn again).

Trousers - daily in summer/when hot. Twice when cool out.

Jeans - a different story for some reason lol. Just now and again when I feel I've worn them for the equivalent of 2-3 full days or if it's been hot - then they're straight in the wash. Usually they're not on that long (oooer!) as it tends to be if I'm out for dinner from home (ie not work) or going round my sis's or mum's, etc. I tend to wear more combat type cropped stuff when hot, or beachy type trousers.

By pants I assume that you are american and mean trousers? Or do you wear your knickers for 2 days? That doesn't sound obsessed with being clean- 2 day grundies.

I wash trousers after 2-3 wears, but as I'm mostly in gym clothes ( 2 sets a day! Washed straight after use!) I only wear my trousers a maximum of about 4 hours!

Work clothing I wash every day regardless of how long I've worn it for. Tops every day, bra every 2 days, in summer I hardly wear one, except for sports. Dresses a couple of days at the most! I change my undies 3x a day! As I run in mornings and workout in evenings!
