Big thanks to Rusty for sharing this. I had been holding out and saving up for a note 2 but the nexus 4 is cheaper brand new than a note 2 would be even second hand. Side by side the additional specs for the note 2 weren't worth the extra £100 it would have cost so I placed an order for the 16gb phone as soon as I'd checked out the reviews etc.
I ordered it on Thursday evening and was emailed early this morning to say it's on it's way (parcelforce collected it from them yesterday according to the tracker). Can't wait for it to arrive and I have gift card credit from surveys on Amazon so I can splash out on accessories in the meantime!£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000

Trust me you got the better deal, I just had a Note 2 forced on me by work and I would like to insert it sideways into the boss that decided on this, I also found out that they are happy to inflict the stupid door sized phone on us pondlife but sneakily got Galaxy S3's for themselves. I hate the Note 2 its a stupid size to carry around, really is.0 -

Oh dear, you really don't sound very impressed at all! Tbh its larger size was one of the reasons I was interested in the note 2, but I had started to wonder how I'd get on with it, especially as a petite sized person (read small hands). The nexus is bigger than the phone I'm using though so it'll still be a step up without it being too big a step!
Hope you aren't stuck with the note 2 for too long.£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000

I have just ordered a Nexus 4 which will be my first smartphone. I don't expect to use it heavily. As this is a sim free device I have been looking at sim only deals. TalkTalk are offering 1gb of data, 300 minutes and 3000 texts for only £3.75 per month on a 12 month contract which seems incredible value. Am I missing something? Is their coverage not good?

Did a quick scan, don't you have to be a Talk Talk customer to qualify? That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Yes, you do. Surely THE biggest drawback to that seemingly good deal?

Indeed.
