If one of them is going to be light use only, get an ovivo sim. One off charge of £15, but then free every month. And the £15 is available to spend on any calls/internet use over the free bundle amount.0 -
3 days for delivery here: nice looking (but I only had the aging blackberry to compare with!).
So, awaiting work microsim....but on wifi. A friend recommended "touchdown' as a great tool to manage my work (exchange/outlook) email & contacts, looks pretty good (cost is about £13 after 30 days, so it needs to be good!).
Wondering what other apps people use? So far popped flipboard, skype on......would love a decent outdoor walking (ideally OS without the cost!!) app...
but overall, looks good.
& just signed up for Box - & yes, logging in gives me 50GB - that is *serious* cloudy storage !!Plan for tomorrow, enjoy today!0 -
I have just order the 16GB one, I am crossing everything that it's a surprise arrival tomorrow as it's still saying 10th of September. Any recommendations on a case?0

I've ordered a couple of dbrand skins (White Leather and Green True Colour) rather than a case. Might end up getting a bumper too though.0

Thanks to the OP I had been looking at this phone for a while to replace my HTC Desire and was going to get my wife to get me it for Christmas. wasn't bothered about waiting for the Nexus 5 and the £80 saving was too good a chance to miss.
Ordered the 16gb last week and it arrived Monday so well pleased. Phone is brilliant and battery life appears to be good (much better than my old Desire anyway and also my wifes iphone).0 -
Never having used an Android phone before I have no knowledge of them. Might this phone be suitable for an elderly (well, 70+) woman who's onl;y ever used a Nokia Brick until now. Really want to get her a new phone for Christmas and whilst I'd like her to have some new features, like email and a decent camera, I don't want to scare her. She has an iPad, if that's at all indicative.Hey you gender nectar;
