Did the cheques arrive on the same day?

My father has received a cheque from CPP but it is only for £60 which covers roughly one month's payment and yet the policy continued from January 2005 to January 2008. Is this because the bank renamed the insurance? Is it not covered by CPP?

    Hi

i received the three letters and remember being pushed over the phone to buy this product.
This was back in 2005 and when I called it was in my previous married name. CPP number wanted my telephone number from 2005 !!! So I ended up having to send details of my divorce and change of name, telephone number etc before they would give me details. I did this and had a new letter in a week very quick. I called them and they told me all I needed to know and I have sent off my claim.
Now to see if they give me back the money !!!
    I will let you know.
  • Got my cheque today for £196.26! Should be able to claim back the Tax aswell from HMRC, so another £14!!
