I'm going to make a chocolate hamper for my sister. So far I've got or thought of

    face mask
    different hot choc sachets
    Scented candles
    chapstick
    few different chocs
    chocolate vodka or liquer
    chocolate cookies
    chocolate pasta.
Hotel Chocolat Salted Caramel and Pecan spread.

Where's a good place to get a reasonable priced basket? Thanks.

    Socks with chocolate motif on
    Magnet/keyring
Chocolate coloured flannel to wash off the face mask (my best friend did this for me and I've nicked the idea because I think it's brilliant. Saves ruining other flannels and more Eco than using cotton wool pads)
    The DVD of 'Chocolat'
Make a cd with chocolate related songs?

Sounds like some great bargains amy :T

I've been thinking about doing my 10yo daughter a hamper as she starts drama classes tomorrow and wondered about one with an acting theme. I looked on Amazon and they have bookmarks and key-rings with the two faces for theatre on them and I thought about the book Ballet Shoes as it is about the lives of children at stage school. But beyond that am a bit stumped for ideas. Anyone?
  • I love the book Ballet Shoes :)

How about a book about a famous play? The Book People sometimes have a children's book called Mr. William Shakespeare, which is a child friendly collection of some of his plays.

You could also think about a ticket to a play or panto, maybe with a home made voucher for the cost of the programme or some money to pay for the programme.

A Tshirt With a drama design (lots come up on Google, masks, clapperboard, etc) to wear at class.

A mirror to practice in front of.

Photo album, so that when she performs she can keep some photos, including some showing her in the prep stages, such as part way through make up.

Movie poster for her bedroom wall.

Purse to take her weekly payment or tuck shop money in.

Ring binder and plastic pockets for any work that she needs to study at home.

Anyone making up a wee hamper for coffee drinkers I just got some bottles of flavoured coffee syrups in Lidl for £1.29 each. Three different flavours of caramel, hazelnut or vanilla. They are 350ml bottles, just tried it, tastes ok. Certainly much cheaper than buying flavoured syrups from the likes of Starbucks, I'm sure they are over 3 quid for a smaller bottle.

For anyone making up a Lego hamper or just for stocking fillers Home Bargains have some brill Lego books for £2.99 (rrp 16.99) some are sticker books and also themed dictionaries with a minifigure included (e.g the Marvel One has a Batman minifigure.) they also have a Lego Build it book with lots of different ideas.

Thanks for the suggestions. Will def be using some of those. As it happens I saw an A4 portolio, plastic with pink fabric surround in a pound shop today and bought it thinking of somewhere to store scripts.

I've also found a garment carrier to put in her costumes for shoes, that can be personalised on-line.

We've had a bit of a battle today with what I and she thinks is suitable attire for classes (denim mini skirt versus some leggings!), so having clothes marked as 'drama class' ones I think is a good idea. I'm struggling on finding t-shirts though still, so would be so kind as to post a link? Can't work out whether it's the way I'm wording the search that means I'm not finding much.
Thanks, but unfortunately we don't have them near us.
Do you have a B&M? I found lovely lidded hampers in various diff sizes there last year, from £2.99 to 4.99/5.99. Poundstretcher had the same ones in. They haven't got them this year yet, but it's prob still a bit early.
