    How about a red skirt/knickers?
That is a lovely idea....the red shirt. My 10 yr old "drama princess" niece would blush and give me h#%$ if I added knickers to any present of her's but maybe that's just her, :rotfl:

I have decided to make a bath hamper for my partner, after converting him to the fun of baths [over showers lol] with some bathbombs. :)

    So far:
    - Dressing gown. [Saved 40% on RRP]
    - Bath massager. [Saved 50% on RRP]
    - Four Viking rubber ducks (he loves the Vikings lol).
    - Bath pillow. [Saved 35% on RRP]
    - Vikings by Neil Oliver (to read in the bath lol). [Saved 43% on RRP]
    - Two Lush bathbombs.
    - 3x "super soft" flannels.
    - Terry's Choc Orange [Saved60% on RRP]
    - 2x Radox hair and body washes. [Saved 50% on RRP]
    - Radox muscle soak. [Saved 50% on RRP]

    Still to get:
    - Hot chocolate stirrer or a bottle of his favourite beer.

    Other ideas:
    - Bath game [like the water gun shooting games - seen things like that at Matalan].
    - Soap on a rope.
    - A CD of relaxing music.
  • I love the idea of the Railway Children Hamper! Brilliant film.
How about a Red hat similar to the one Bobby wears throughout the film and iced buns like the ones they give Mr Perks for his birthday?
You could also add some labels like the ones they forget to put on his presents, saying nice things about her?
What about a hankie to wave at the trains? (i've got a feeling one of the girls in the film had one but not certain)

Petticoats were waved to warn the train of the landslide.

This book is how the film was made http://www.amazon.co.uk/Making-Railway-Children-Jim-Shipley/dp/0902438344/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1381611467&sr=1-1&keywords=The+Making+of+The+Railway+Children

  • I've started a travel hamper thingy for my niece and her oh. So far I have

    2 x American adapters
    2 x European adapters
    1 bug killer & tabs
    Digital travel scales
    Oblas oil
Small bottle of alcohol hand wash
    Bottle opener

    Still to get

    Pack of cards
    Travel document wallet

Still to make eye masks and drawstring bag to put everything in.

    Might add

    Travel soap leaves
    Travel wash line

The list could be endless but any fresh ideas welcome. I did one already along with dollars for friends who were getting married.
