    Hi Kirsty,
There are tons of gardening bits in 99p stores and Asda from gardening gloves to seeds through to plastic planters. You could also add a hand care set, if you think she would like it. I considered doing a gardening hamper for my mum before discarding the idea in favor of a book lover's one. That should give you a start....:)

  • The hand and foot treatments from Home Bargains mentioned in post 241 are really good. I've been using them for about a year now. In the hand treatment, you get a pair of plastic gloves with the hand lotion inside, which are fine to wear when watching TV. The foot treatment is much better though. You get a large pair of plastic socks, which I wear in bed. My feet are size 7 and they fit me quite nicely. The socks are wide and have lotion inside. Although they are a bit chilly to put on at first, your feet soon warm up and soak in the lotion. If you have very dry skin, as I do, it doesn't cure it completely, but it does make a difference. I usually keep the socks on for about half the night (I'm up in the night with my son, but if I wasn't getting up to see to his needs, I would probably keep them on all night. They're a bit slippery to walk in though).

There is also a face mask in the same range. It is a fabric style mask with eye and mouth holes, and you just rest it on your face as you lie back. It's not as good as a cream face mask, as it doesn't lie completely flat and therefore doesn't reach, for example, the sides of your nose. It is lovely and relaxing though, and helps to cool me down when I have hot flushes :o

    Hello all

I'm attempting to put together a motocross-themed hamper for my son in law. So far I have bought a DVD, some weird knee length nylon socks (which apparently motocross riders wear), and a keyring in the shape of a motocross boot. My daughter has sent me a few pictures of him on his motocross bike, and I was thinking of putting these onto a coffee mug and/or mouse mat for him. Does anyone else have any ideas for things I could include, please? My mind has just gone blank now :)

Could you make a calender with the pictures using the Truprint deal?

    Hello,
My niece's b'day is in December, like a few days before Christmas. Last year, she decreed that she wanted two different/individual presents because most of the time, her b'day present was also her Christmas gift. I, 100%, agree with her....LOL!!!
This year, I'm doing a hamper for her, separate from the hamper her family would get. I thought since she was turning 10, I would do a fashionista hamper for her.
I thought I should put it together, just to see how I was doing. This is the result so far....I would love your opinions. Is it too much, is there a better way I can arrange the contents, you know, that sort of thing.
P.S. There is still the giant tube of Smarties to add and I don't know where to put it now:eek:......maybe across the back?? Please help!!!!

I do a Christmas Eve hamper for my little ones, I have my OH knock on the front door about 4pm, leave the hamper, then leg it round the back while the kids open the door.
In it is reindeer dust, a reindeer shaped party bag with hot chocolate and marshmellow, a gingerbread Santa, a personalised letter from Santa,a Christmas bedtime story, some Christmas bath toys, new pyjamas and a DVD to watch

What a lovely idea - may I borrow it please?

I am absolutely loving this thread :D but I'm still only on page 1!
