For the zombie one you could keep an eye out when all the Halloween bits and bobs get reduced
Hi, sorry to jump on this thread with a slightly OT - but we done a zombie survival hamper a few years ago for my sis in law and her hubbie - they had just moved in together too.
In it was everything from batteries, to torches, gaffer tape, the book "zombie survival guide" by max brooks, a saw, mini tool kit, dried food, bottles of water, a back pack. We then had hasmat suits (dust suit from £land) and splashed it with red blood - complete with goggles and mask etc.
Don't know if theres anything there that might help you but - the book is definitely worth it.0

Thank you so much to everyone who has posted on this thread. So much inspiration!
Hadn't considered doing a hamper until now. Am thinking of these...
Farmer Hamper - for stepdad (who's a farmer).
 - Flask
 - Warm gloves & hat
 - Thick socks
 - Farming book
 - Snacks to have in the tractor
Maybe presented in a back pack?
Yummy Mummy Hamper - for friend who's just had a baby.
 - Chick lit book
 - Some lovely smellies
 - Candles
 - Cosy socks
 - Lip balm
 - Necklace with initial of her baby (if can find at reasonable price)
 - Chocs
 Coffee Lover's Hamper (for Uncle)
 - Mug
 - Coffee
 - HM coffee syrups from this website
 - Chocs
 - Biscuits
 - Coaster
 - Presented on a small tray
Am going to do a 'Favourite Things' Hamper for in laws. They're v hard to buy for so am just going to fill a basket with all sorts of things they love including a framed pic of our daughter. Hopefully they'll like that
Hopefully will think of a few more bits to include as the weeks go on and will keep browsing this thread.
Trying to live a good life on little money :T0

Ohhhhh I want one of those from someone. I just want mine to contain a large lockable cage to keep them in from time to time, a gag for my teenagers mouth and a 'panic room' installed so I can take and make phone calls without interruption.:rotfl: Though a lockable make up case would be a good start too.DomRavioli wrote: »Best mate - kid free hamper!
 Lockable make up storm case
 new sets of make up
hair care goody pack from local salon
 hair grips
 DVD
 snowmansoup with cup
Thats it for now, I end up doing hampers for most people as they love to get one big box! 0 0

DH got one earlier this year after I read some male posters elsewhere raving about it. DH swears by it and previously he was always moaning about the cost of razor blades. I can also vouch for it working, cos I shaved my legs with hubby's razor and he didn't notice.;):D0

I don't know what your budget is but my son plays a card game called Zombie Fluxx. He recently introduced it to the children in the after school club I work in and they love it. It is suitable for a wide range of ages.

            Hi
New to posting on here, but came across your chat and found it really helpful so thanks to all.
I am hoping to do another hamper for my best friend, she's had a really tough year and we're planning a girlie holiday to New York which we're both saving for. I'm wondering if I can do a new york themed hamper.
 Any ideas?
 Thanks in Advance0

I'm loving this thread! I've been putting together a "Tea Time" hamper for my Mum's birthday in November, so far I have:
Tea cup & saucer (from Dunelm Mills Poppy range)
 Side plate (ditto)
 Tea bag holder (ditto)
Tea towels (in red & white to match the china)
Set of 3 red handled teaspoons (couple of pounds on e-bay)
I'm also planning on getting some packets of Twinings tea in different flavours (a brand she wouldn't normally buy for herself as too expensive) and some nice biscuits & chocolates.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250
 £2 Savers Club 2015 #8 £250£200 :j
