clairfairy, how about some little luxury items of things they may not normally treat themselves to like nice biscuits, coffee tea etc.
my mums a senior and she loves a hamper of foodie things that are a level up of the range she normally gets. she also says the nicest part of me giving her a hamper is that she eats it all but doesnt have to carry it back from the shops herselfSPC~12 ot 124

Hello everyone,
I'm just back from a trip to B&M and HB. I spent Thurs at work, Fri at hospital as DD was having an op (teeth removal) and yesterday at home nursing her, so this morning had cabin fever and was in desperate need of some retail therapy.
I saw several things that may be ideas for hampers already mentioned on here.
B&M
The poster doing the Caribbean hamper (may be nicking some ideas as my parents have also informed me they are doing a cruise around there in Feb). Unsure if you wanted anything holiday-wise, but a few things have been reduced in their holiday section cluding travel bottles for shampoo etc, 'bum' bags and padlocks all down to 59p.
The 'pulling' hamper. There was a key-ring shaped like a magnet and on it it said 'Babe Magnet'. It's also labelled as such on the packaging. Might be a bit difficult to find as it was just on one of those strips that hang from shelves. Think it was near the alcohol in my store.
Home Bargains
I picked up a cupcake book for £1.59 as I am doing a small hamper along these lines for my Niece. It's a DK one that says it's £9.99 on the back.
HB also have a coca cola straw canister for 1.99 full of straws. I know the poster mentioned it not going with decor, but this could sit in a cupboard.0 -
Hi there!
I've decided to do a lemon hamper for our neighbours. So far I've thought about lemon curd, limoncello, lemon soap & lemon whip body lotion from The Body Shop, maybe a lemon plant? Lemon sweets? What else could I put in? Lemon tea bags? I like to make things so I'll be making the limoncello and lemon curd.
Thanks0 -
