  • Thanks for the ideas re. The pulling hamper! Some great ideas!

For the lemon hamper, what about lemon scented candles, room mist, maybe even make some lemon decs (drying lemon out in oven tying up with string, maybe adding cinnamon), could make lemon biscuits. If they drive, one of them smelly tree things for their car. Could even pop in a bottle of lemon fairy liquid for a jokey gift

Something to do with Keith lemon, book/DVD or magnets/key rings. I presumed They are fans of Keith lemon as to why you are doing a lemon themed one. Or am I really far off the mark?

In home bargains they sell Disney rapunzle de-tangling spray its either 99p or 1.99. They also sell some shampoo and conditioner which has a picture of a mermaid on the front i can remember what brand, but its a decent one £1, in my pounds hop they are selling packs of Disney princess clip in hair bits in pinks and purples. They also sell hair turbans.

    Hi,
Thanks for the ideas. Not sure if they like Keith Lemon, lol. I just picked a theme and hope they like it :D
  • Thanks for all your cola ideas! I've found a site online that do vegetarian friendly sweets and they have cola bottles, cola pips, cola fizz whizz, cola cubes......etc . Think im going to get a cheap white bin from supermarket /ikea to present it is. As the bottles/cans etc will be round I thought it may be easier to package in a round container?????

craftymummy - what about a bottle of dietcoke with lemon!!!!!

    Hi there!
I've decided to do a lemon hamper for our neighbours. So far I've thought about lemon curd, limoncello, lemon soap & lemon whip body lotion from The Body Shop, maybe a lemon plant? Lemon sweets? What else could I put in? Lemon tea bags? I like to make things so I'll be making the limoncello and lemon curd.
    Thanks :)

Do you cross-stitch? How about stitching a slogan onto a teatowel or making up some coasters?

  • Re the cupcake hamper theme - I was in Primark yesterday. They've got loads of cupcake type stuff including notebooks and cupcake holders (a card flatpack one that slots together) - all down to £1 each! :-)

Also there are some great cupcake books to be found in The Works and Home Bargains.
