  • Hi everyone

Pigpen: I've applied to join the FB page as well, initials are RH.

Saturday Update: Not a lot got done! Our church is open for coffee/tea etc. on Saturday mornings and I usually help there, but I'd completely forgotten that I'd promised to help at an event in the afternoon which mucked up all my plans. Got "little bits" done in the evening, but not as much as Friday. Here's hoping for the rest of today .....

Flymeet: I know I'm not a regular poster, but health and financial issues allowing, can I come and say hello? I'm not too far from B'ham New Street (45min by train) or Smallbrook Queensway (90 mins by bus depending on how the road/tunnel works are going) so wouldn't need to stay overnight.

    Afternoon everyone.
Trying to take it a little easy today to conserve energy (being induced tomorrow) have finished daughters bedroom finishing touches for when she gets back from my mums.
Just plan to keep on top of things today so I don't walk back into the house to a mess.
Hugs to those going through a tough time at the moment.
  • Good luck for tomorrow roxy7699 hope it goes as smoothly as possible for you x

Sorry to hear your OH is in pain, Helenjelly. Hope he gets his appointment very soon.
    Congratulations MMM!
    Good luck for tomorrow, Roxy.
Do come and join us at the fly meet, rh31: the more the merrier!

:coffee:decluttered so I must get back to demolishing a vastly overgrown viburnum bush with DH
  • Thank you LW for the suggestion on Sloe Jam, there are not quite enough overhanging from the NDN, but I spotted some in a local park well away from the road so they won't be contaminated IYSWIM so I may well give that a go

Congratulations MMM and good luck vibes for Roxy for baby evacuation tomorrow

Promptly fell asleep after posting last night, so I really really must find listy and see what I can cross off :D

    I saw the Red Arrows!

I *think* they were going to meet my 'neighbours' who have a do on;)
    I've checked; they were:D

I have picked blackberries - SO glad I took my litter picker - I got the fat, juicy, usually-inaccessible ones! Woot! Cloud shrinking;)

Went to Morries and overheard a couple discussing what sugar to buy to make jam - so stuck my nose in...

    September

    *is under a black cloud*

I love September - 'tis my favourite time of year
I have been missing from this thread for a few weeks due to my little boy arriving on the 9th August. I have decided that it is time to try and get some flying done .

    Congtraulations and enjoy

    Welcome Beckseven and other newbies/delurkers

Somebody was askin about drying washing indoors - putting less on the maiden at a time speeds up the drying as the air can flow more but I appreciate that is not helpful if you have loads to do.

    Painfree vibes for Mr Jelly

Normally I love it too; but DS goes to Uni this month. Three days before his birthday; 4 days before mine.

And next September DD will (probably) go, too.

I'm finding the whole notion of it so hard.
