1x wm only as the 8 from yesterday have taken until now to dry.
Car washed to remove tree sap
Front & old lady nd's lawns cut
    Hob cleaned
    Mr T delivered
    Balance of unpacking done
    Games played
New calendar updated and synchronised with old one & my diary
Miss Muddy Paws collected from the cat o'tel. She has been shouting all day and getting me to follow her outside. She seems very hungry.
New dentist appointment made as mine has left (maternity leave I think )

Have booked same accommodation for next year. Not mse but will try to sell some stuff for activities. (Kids don't know yet)

Whilst we were away DS1 got an email from school saying he ad to change one of his A level subjects. He emailed back but hasn't heard anything.

Does anyone know if he needs to keep any of his Gcse stuff?

Hope any poorlies are feeling better, welcome to new ones x

Depends on the subjects, for languages, maths and science I would say yes as it builds on core concepts but for say, history and english then probably not though. I kept all mine out of nostalgia sake!

    Evening all :D

Didn't get the sewing done as I got engrossed in watching a film, but tomorrow DD is out with ex for a few hours so I should be able to plough through it while I watch my crime programs ;)

Tonight I've vacuumed through the livingroom and kitchen because there was a spider, however I think it escaped as I saw another one disappear under the sofa when I'd finished. Kitchen is clean except for some washing up, the laundry is up to date (until beds changed & bath are had tomorrow), ironing is going to require me bending my new ironing board as the legs are wonky but can be wedged for now and I can't wait for Thursday to arrive!

My tooth is still hurting, but its more because I appear to be grinding my teeth absent mindedly until I get a sudden sharp pain. I'm due my next dose of antibiotics in the next 2 hours so I'll take some painkillers at the same time and head for bed. 7am get up tomorrow to get things done before ex gets here. Also good practice for back to school ;)

Off to get a drink of milk & my meds as I'm more than ready for my bed tonight! :(
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Has anyone just requested to join the flylady facebook group? Initial JM? It is a closed group and I just like to know we aren't getting any randommers trying to infiltrate the ranks.

  • Hi Everyone,

I plan to join you all on Monday when my DD goes back to school.

I've asked to join the Facebook group too, to get me even more motivated.

Look forward to getting to know you all :D

Done the dishes and wiped the work tops (was meant to polish them after but accidentally used air freshener) oops!!! Smells good though :rotfl: Didnt realise until dd commented on the nice smell!!

I've never thought of polishing a worktop...do you use normal furniture polish?

    x

If he is doing a few of the same subjects for A Level then it would do no harm to keep those books etc to use for notes for A Level modules :)

Thank you... I've added you. It was just that when we set up the group it was requested it was kept exclusively for people using this thread so I just wanted to make sure as there have been a lot of requests in the last couple of weeks from people I know for certain aren't on here... Welcome!! xx

  • Evening

been flying by night, DS only quit an hour ago, he has a sore throat but is still talking for England!

Went to charity thingy with DD2, DD3, DD4 and DS, were DD2 was performing, a good time was had by all, food drink, games and bouncy castles decluttered lots of cash that I borrowed from DD1 (by rights it is my cash as she owes me a shed load, but she is uber skint so needs it back again asap  )

Have been doing dot to dot and lots of 101 challenges but keep loosing count, so lots of decluttering but not loads of cleaning, but it should be easier in the morning.

Right, time for one last brew then find listy
The cold never bothered me anyway
