    ** TUESDAY 29TH OCTOBER 2013 - FLYMEET IN BIRMINGHAM **

    Venue: tbc
    Time: lunch (ish)

Please do book train / coach tickets - I will be booking mine tomorrow. I will also be looking at premier inn for poss staying over (thanks frodders). xx

Can I confirm that's the Premier on Broad Street? :) It's close to the new Library so you can partake of the excellent views when you're here; I think it's the only library with a visiting falcon:D

This link will give you the location of train and bus stations as well as maps for shopping and art.

  • I would love to come, but we are planning to take DD1 to Leavesden Studios in half term for her birthday. To make it ME friendly we are planning on staying 2 nights in a hotel. Sadly this means funds are tight and I won't be able to meet you all... but I look forward to hearing all about it!

    Morning all

Natty yes you are still doing alternate weeks if that is still ok. Valli was standing in for my weeks as they were when my holiday was.

I have no problem with the personal challenges being on here but know from when we have done stars in the past keeping another post updated can be a bit challenging. Somebody could take on this role, anybody fancy it? Just need the post to be on page 1 really with a list of whoever wants to 'pledge'.

Need to shower, wake boys and leave hotel asap o get on the road, again, last leg now.

I'd be happy to volunteer as challenge "keeper" - it might be added incentive to stick to mine :p

Towels and cleaning cloths out on line, been to sainsbobs and in reference to the above, I am the proud owner of some cropped leggings with an mp3 pocket, and a rather hefty looking sports bra :rotfl:

DD also has some new slippers, and we are all set for the weekend entertainments with picnicables. When I asked DS what we will give the aunties and grannies tomorrow when they visit he said "teddy bear crispies and a cup of tea" lol but we also ended up with a bag of giant choc buttons and some mini doughnuts :D

Not had a very MSE week and am not looking forward to my credit card bill arriving - although its a cash back one and I'm sure september is my cash back month.

Right, cuppa slurped so I'll go finish up in the kitchen and get the picnic ready. Think we'll need coats

    Morning all

Been grinding my teeth in my sleep again I think :( I have a horrible feeling I'm going to be put on more antibiotics at this rate or my tooth pulled on Wednesday. :( Just told DD I want her ready for school as if she was going back on Wednesday (She goes back Thursday) so I don't have to think about trying to do stuff after the dentists.

Todays plan is to get the end of the housework done (and resist the urge to re-do what DD did yesterday half-heartedly :o), get the belt loops stitched on, get the laundry done, do some paid stuff and figure out what I can have for tea tonight.

DD has washed up, and we're doing jobs in the ad breaks again ;) Her next job is to make some bread as she ate the end of the homemade bread which means my breakfast was a cup of soup :( All I want is some buttered toast or a crunchy apple :(

Best go put the fruit in the fridge as I'm not going to be eating it any time soon & I don't want to be inundated with fruit flies again.

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
