Thanks for last week's list Natty, this week's Valli and happy well-earned hols Dusty. Big hugs (((Decog))).

I'm in, and planning on carrying on with the decluttering of film crud. I can't believe nearly four weeks later I'm still sorting out the gibble left over, but realise now that if, effectively, our house is production HQ, everything that is left afterwards will be here. As well as trying to work out menus for next time. Today I scored a 12"x18" whiteboard (with two pens) because to trash or CS it would be a mistake ('Oh WHY did we let that go!') but it still leaves me with the where does it belong question. I think these two issues may be connected. Hmm.

OH vaccummed today (hurrah!) and I discovered Lovely Lodger has let mould grow in the shower (boo) - the shower room is her responsibility, since she volunteered to take it over. So much for people saying they find cleaning relaxing.

I'd like to get back to Frog No 3, Chapter 10, except that I've now realised that the real problem is Chapter 9. *cries*

    *girding of loins*
    Better is good enough.

First thing I do when I'm down visiting is get you to the opticians with the 2 for 1 offer on and make you wear both pairs at the same time cause your eyesight is obviously terrible :p

    Thank you Valli

I'm already off to a flying start, OH went to bed at 10 claiming exhaustion, must be tiring sitting on your backside at your Mum's all afternoon while "the women" prepped, cooked and dished dinner for 13, then loaded the DW. I then sorted out FIL's email problems which took for-e-ver. Back home to shower smelly children, quick tidy, wash up x hundreds (and we haven't even been in today!), emptied WM and hung on airer, did all the ironing including the damp cricket kit which can go away tomorrow. S&Sed kitchen, bathroom was done when I was scrubbing the carpet earlier -- still steaming over my dye mishap!

Lamewolf, I'm a slipper nazi and insist that everyone deshoes and gets slippered up when they enter the house. You're still welcome for a :coffee: anytime though :D

I ought to be tired but nope. I was awake between 2.30 and 5.30 last night and I suspect tonight may not be any better. I think I'll make a hot chocolate and start labelling DS1's new uniform -- that's bound to send me to sleep :)

    Morning All

Well I'm back and I've got lots to do this week! New bed arriving tomorrow or Wednesday but Wednesday I think so I need to empty my BR over the next couple of days ans sort it out. It's an absolute pigsty and extremely cluttered so I'd planned on doing it but now I've got to! DD has also had a new to her bed which DH fetched and assembled last week so everything in her room was just dumped on the opposite side of the room so that needs sorting which she keeps asking me to help with. Obviously on top of that is all the washing, ironing and unpacking from my fortnight away. DH put the first load in the WM before he went to work.

Lots to do and I really don't know where to start!

    Thanks for the list Valli.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Washing on line
    2nd load in
    Dog walked

DD is now awake and asking me to help her with her BR but I want to make a start on mine so I'm going to do a HHC in my room and then see what happens from there.

My laptop says that its battery is getting to the end of its useful life - will it need replacing or will I be able to use it plugged in anyway?

Right I'll go and make a start.

Morning all. I'm in again. Thanks Valli for the list. I've just been catching up with the last couple of days thread, and I'm someone who likes unusual/offbeat plays, cinema etc so since I was a teenager I've always been comfortable going anywhere on my own if there is no one around to share the interest. Yesterday, I went to a new exhibition at a museum on my own. Shame DD doesn't have the same confidence esp as she's single again, but never mind.

I have a list for today, probably a little optimistic but I will give it my best shot:

    Make DD packed lunch
    Wash up
    Gym
    Bath
    Hoover through house
    Gardening, mainly mowing
    Clean fridge
    Catch up with all washing
    Walk dogs

I have already had breakfast and fed and medicated dogs, and put the bins out (in my dressing gown as both DH and I forgot it is Monday). Lamb for dinner later is in the oven.

Hope everyone has a good day.
Spend less now, work less later.

    .

Battery on my laptop has long since died, but it still works while plugged in, just be careful not to accidentally unplug it after spending hours working without saving! :/

Busy day today, second load in wm need to sort through mine and ds br's aswel as today's list
